I think my internet company was throttling me and then just kicked me off their service. Before I would get .20mbs down. I cancelled it and started it back up and I get this:


Ping always sucks on it though. I mean, its manageable.

Well, at least I can post in the front page. Uncharted 2 works fine, some "O, I died" lag... annoying.

Never used speedtest before, handy site! here are the speeds at my work:

Yeah, somebody set our speeds to "god mode". If I ever get in trouble for downloading the occasional 1080p tv show, I'll argue that with speeds this fast, I'd be a fool to NOT download gig sized files.

Yeah, especially with how easy it is to download shows online now. All you have to do is google the show and episode, Rapidshare, Megaupload or another upload side has you covered. Aren't they why they are made?

Who the fuck said "Sorry to hear about your site. I hope everything works out." to TSSZ on the SEGAbits twitter? Looks like somebody here wasn't informed that tssz is a ball of shit masquerading as a news site. Honestly, I'm glad they got hacked and hope it happens again.

edit: to clarify, I'm not pissed off at whoever showed kindness towards tssz (I assume it was Sharky or George), I just find it mind boggling that there are still people out there who Tristan hasn't made enemies with. his "article" on the hacking includes, for no reason but to stir up trouble, a dig at TSS writer Shadzter who is an all around awesome guy, i think he even joined the forums not too long ago. Shadz suffers from chronic fatigue syndrome, and Tristan thinks it's fun to include an insult about the disorder any chance he can get. It's just low, and makes Tristan come off as a cunt. Lest we not forget all the times TSSZ ignored C&D's from sega and how they remove any comments that might be critical of their site. Hell, I pointed out that he didn't cite TSS in an article and the dude banned me. Of course, he had to slip in an Shadzter insult even though he had nothing to do with me mentioning TSSZ's mistake.

Anyway, tl;dr version: TSSZ is a waste of internet space.

I'm not the biggest fan of TSSZ, but having a site hacked sucks. Its his work, it was not just his site but his personal stuff. He has attacked Sharky and our site before, but the act of kindness had nothing to do with his content or site really.

Giving him comments like "I hope you burn in hell and your site is hacked again" and actually hacking his site, causes drama, thus fueling traffic to his site. I rather have the SEGA community ignore him and not cause drama. Thus his site wouldn't have to exist.
