^If he really wants to go the realistic route, Penguin could probably fit nicely. I think in more recent times he's just been an eccentric mob boss rather than being a wacky bird-man thing.

Maybe something relating to Hush?

Oh and Ulala5, Bane was in a movie, but I think everyone is trying to forget about it...

I don't Nolan is too crazy about re-casting Joker, apparentely Chris Nolan was shocked at Ledger's death and he doesn't intend to revisit the character.

Now, as far as a villain, I'm surprised it's not The Riddler, that would be the next logical conclusion considering the events of TDK.

I hope that they don't bring back Two-Face, it would be like pulling a Spiderman 3-esque plot twist out of thin air.

They already did Ra's Al Ghul, so that's the another other high profile Batman villain that I can think of. And Scarecrow.

So that would leave Penguin(doubtful), Black Mask, The Mad Hatter(doubftul), Bane and Catwoman.

Well even though everything is different than what is used to for the main series, Penguin is technically dead because when he was Danny DeVito he died or something. PR guys told me this is related so I have complete proof!

When Danny DeVito comes back to life I am going to marry him so we can get all of the benefits one would expect with a marriage. However, it will not work out and we will talk about a divorce, but then I see the elephant drawing he made for me and rethink my plan of action.

I don't know how interesting some of those would be for as the main antagonist for the whole movie.  I'm pretty sure Catwoman would be in there, but there's got to be somebody else. I'd second your pick for Black Mask, and MadeMang's mention of Hush as being in the mix too.

Nintendo posts half-year net loss, a first in seven years
By Thomas Ricker  posted Oct 28th 2010 5:07AM

After three years of record earnings, the mighty house that Mario built is reporting a net loss of ¥2.01 billion ($25 million) in the fiscal first half ending 30 September versus a profit of ¥69.49 billion a year earlier. In addition to the adverse affects suffered under a strong yen, Nintendo's sales for the first half of its fiscal year were down 35 percent to ¥363.16 billion due to lower demand for its Wii console. According to the Wall Street Journal, this represents Nintendo's first net loss in the fiscal first half in the last seven years. The future outlook is pretty grim too with Nintendo forecasting an annual profit drop to the lowest level in six years as Wii console sales decline for the second year in a row. Ouch.

Planes go up, planes go down. :')
This will only make Nintendo look better in the long run. When Wii2/3DS gets released. It'll jump like 40000%

Speaking of Batman villians again, was Black Mask ever a big deal in the comics? I've heard his name thrown around a lot as a potential baddie for the movie and upcoming game, but never heard of him at all before reading his bio in Arkham Asylum. I think he's a cool sounding villian and fits the universe of Nolan's Batman, but he just seems kind of low-profile. That might be a good thing though, I do love when people take low-profile characters and do something great with them. They might be able to include Deadshot as his hit-man or something. I think he would work really well after reading up on him on wiki

Quote
Within the DC Universe, Deadshot is often a hired assassin, regularly boasting to "never miss." He is capable of using a large variety of weapons, but is most frequently portrayed as using a pair of silenced, wrist-mounted guns. He initially appears in Gotham City as a new crimefighter, but is revealed to be an enemy of Batman when he attempts to replace the Dark Knight. He is sent to jail when Batman and Commissioner Gordon publicly expose his plot to become the king of Gotham's underworld.[1]

@MadeManG74

To be honest, I myself didn't hear much from Black Mask, it wasn't until the most recent Detective Comics, Batman and Catwoman issues that Black Mask turned into a major villain and the defacto mob boss in Gotham.

I endorse Catwoman in this, if only because Selina Kyle was rumoured at one point to be Carmine Falcone's niece.

Black Mask isn't a huge villain in Batman, but he could make a good secondary villain in the movie.
The main reason I'd go with Catwoman over Harley Quinn, is just so that there's a love interest for Batman.

Didn't his "girlfriend" kinda died in Dark Knight? I don't know if a sudden new love interest would be a natural progression to that..

If Batman needs a love interest, they should add Robin.

Totally agreed! ^__^

If they did that, I'd consider going to see it after all.
