Only on a very superficial level, there's a few books out there detailing some Hitler's Worker's National Socialist Party(yes, that was the full name of Hitler's Nazi party) overall social experiments as both Staline and Hitler's idea was to create a completely state-dependent and state-controlled society. And much like state-dependent societies, everytime something went horribly wrong, they would just pin the blame on someone, preferably something vague and invisible, to scare people...
What some today call "market speculators" the root of all problems, back then, they went by a different name: "Jews" and Christians as well.
So completely random arrests and executions were the bread and butter of both these regimes, because they were also never given any actual profile of what an "evil-doer" does or how they look like.
Hitler was also a strong advocate for gun control, because he didn't want the people to put 2 and 2 together suddenly realize their mistake and impeach him, by force if necessary.
Both Staline and Hitler wanted a controlled news media and both had their fair share of "useful idiots" and "puppet celebrities" to help their cause.
The short answer is: Different means, but ultimately the same goals.
