F*** you, Warner Brothers! F*** you! F*** you! F*** you!

Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle? Are you serious?

So many actresses and you pick the one who embarrased herself in Bride Wars and Get Smart! F*** You!

Dude, your post gave me a boner. Is that classified as a "broner"?

I'm certain Chris Nolan will make it work. I mean, the dude took a teen heart throb that I admittedly didn't like at all at the time and made him the ultimate Joker.

Far more excited for Dark Knight Rises than I am for "Spider-Man: the reboot of Spider-Man 1 that is being filmed less than ten years after the first and only 5 years after the last one". I prefer a continuation of a story rather than another freakin reboot.

I actually don't mind reboots myself, especially if the first attempt just didn't work out or wasn't really true to the source. Good example is The Punisher. 2004 film was a good action flick, but it wasn't The Punisher. I was stoked to find that Warzone was going to be a re-boot rather than a sequel. Unfortunately that didn't turn out too well either. Needless to say, if they made ANOTHER reboot I would be very happy. I love seeing different interpretations of the same character like that sometimes.

You forgot the 1990's Punisher with Dolph Lundgren.

Yeah, Punisher and Hulk have been rebooted like crazy. Well... the Hulk sequel was more of a semi-sequel than a full on reboot. Though, with Ed Norton not in the Avengers movie it'll be yet another Bruce Banner. That'll be three in one decade!

Thing is, with Spider-Man, they really could have made a great fourth film with the old cast. Only reason 3 wasn't so good was due to the studio pushing Raimi to include Venom. If a director has no interest in a character, then don't push them to include one in their film. Sandman, on the other hand, was well done. However he didn't get a lot of screen time. Same goes for Harry Osbourne, he had a great character arc through the three movies and yet didn't get enough screen time to develop in the third film.

Spider-Man 4 with the Lizard and Kraven would have been awesome! Weird transformations, horror and whackos with weapons are right up Raimi's alley. Since 3 did away with Harry, Venom and Sandman, there would be no baggage to hold down the fourth film. It could have been just Spider-Man fighting the Lizard, while at the same time trying to save his mutated professor from Kraven. Toss in J.J.Jameson (who is not in the upcoming movie), stick Mary Jane in the background and you've got yourself a great movie. Or at the very least, something better than 3 and equal with 2.

Check out Brokeback Mountain, or Rachel Getting Married. She's a really good actress, and I'm sure that she'll do a fantastic job in the role. Especially considering she was cast by Christopher Nolan. Remember the reaction when Heath Ledger was cast as the Joker? A lot of fanboys were pretty critical of that one, but it resulted in one of the most iconic movie villains in recent memory.

Tom Hardy should also be pretty cool as Bane.

The Joker's lover in Brokeback married Catwoman. That's messed up!

I haven't actually seen that one, and it was so long ago I think it doesn't fall into Barry's idea of 'fast reboots'. Thanks for bringing it up though, I've been meaning to check this movie out.

Does just changing actors mean a reboot though? I would argue it's just a sequel.

Also, I agree that Spider-Man 4 could have been done well with Raimi, (also we never saw Bruce Campbell is Mysterio ;_;), but at the same time, if it's not gonna happen, I also don't mind a re-boot.

Finally, I would love to see someone attempt a Dark Knight Returns style Joker character.

I actually thought by the time of Spiderman 3, Sam was starting to lose it and it was evident it was time to let him go;

[spoiler:22947iy5]I mean seriously, hey Mary Jane you're an enormous bitch, you're boyfriend goes out there risking his life from day to day and you have some sort of stupid ego that you're issues, which are just acting, is bigger than a man who risks his life on a daily basis? If I was Pete I would have been done with her

Harry got amnesia, then he remembered, then he got half his face blown off, then well, it's a bit of a mess

And hey Sandman, you just so happened to accidently shot my uncle by some guy tapping you on your shoulder and I'm meant to forgive you?

Oh and you kill off Venom when he only has 20 minute screen time? Like I know some Spidey fans absolutely hate Venom but come on...[/spoiler:22947iy5]

It's funny because when I first saw it, I thought it was an okay film, but looking back at it, Spiderman 3 was really terrible and not just because of Venom...

For those reasons Aki-at mentioned and many other beefs I have with Spiderman 3, it's pretty much I feel absolutely indifferent to this Spiderman reboot.

In other news, with Duke Nukem Forever's actual release date being announced, I kinda feel sad. We can't make fun of DNF anymore!

Took my broken Dreamcast out of the basement and gutted it. Think I'll someday turn it into a Typing of the Dead backpack. In the meantime, it makes a great hat!

Oh my God, the dev team who is working on Gal Gun is actually considering bringing that game to the west.

Oh, boy... Unless they do some serious changes, it's going to make headlines in the american media, that's for sure.
