I think my copy of Super Street Fighter IV hates me all of the sudden.

As I've played it over the past week the Arcade mode difficulty suddenly cranked up to super-difficult, despite being set on "Very Easy". I can't even get past the first few battles now versus the computer players. I changed it to "Easiest" thinking that maybe it would go back to normal, but it is every bit as hard on that difficulty. What's going on?!? I like to set a game at a difficulty and I like it to stay there unless I tell it otherwise.  Now it seems the game is refusing me the pleasure of running through arcade mode without getting me frustrated.

My Facebook account randomly tells me to go through a security pass, especially when I log off and on again in a matter of minutes... weird.

Since this is the technical assistance thread:

My mod chipped Japanese Dreamcast plays every game, except for San Francisco Rush 2049 which I just bought. It gets to the "produced or dev'd by SEGA..." and then kicks back to the system menu. I tried a boot disc, which got the game to a black screen after the "produced or dev'd by SEGA...", VMU displayed the game logo, but no game started up.

Then, hoping it wasn't a laser problem, I tried about 5 other games (Japanese, euro, US, indie, burned), and all played flawlessly. Then I tried SFR2049 in my other Dreamcast (standard US model), it played perfectly on VGA and RCA booting up every time.

So I've concluded that for some odd reason, SFR2049 just does not work on a Japanese modded Dreamcast. Not a laser problem or scratched disc, just an oddity.

@Barry:
That's pretty messed up.
My PAL copy of Rez only works intermittently when I use the DC-X disc on a North American Dreamcast. Big reason why I picked up the Japanese version. I wonder if the PAL Rush 2049 has the same issues.

Yeah, if you can give it a try, I'd be most intrigued to hear what happens. I doubt it's a faulty disc, as like I said it works perfectly on my other two consoles (both unmodded US models). Also, my tests ruled out a bad laser. Perhaps 2049 is the ultimate region protected disc? Like it was bitten by a radioactive lawyer or something.

Don't get me started on that. CSS based websites are a real pain in the ass.

CSS is what all modern day websites use. there is nothing bad about it. If you are used to old school HTML then it might seem odd, but once you get used to it it's much easier to use then the old skool HTML styling.

After my INternet (you guys probably hear me cry a lot about it) sucked on and off for a long time... all of a sudden this weekend they give me MORE speed than I pay for... so what I do?

(FUCK YA TORRENTS)

I enjoyed the hell out of the Killzone 3 beta.

Feels good being able to download a 700mb file in half an hour.

^^ movie was pretty good.

Superman reboot will be played by Henry Cavill, a native to Sharky's island. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0147147/

Sharky might actually say something positive about Superman.

Foreigners are stealing all of our American heroes!!!

Batman is from Wales
Spider-Man was ripped from America at age 3 and was raised in London
Superman is from Jersey (the one without Snooki)
Wolverine is an Aussie

Sick of it. From now on, Chris Evans is the only actor who gets my endorsement. At least Captain America is from the good ol' USA.

(I'm mostly joking)
