I wonder why I'm usually interested in finding an opposite opinion about something?

Stupid fucking royals just get married already so my fiancee stops watching the news coverage. We don't even live in the UK!

I know, it almost seems like the USA is more excited for this wedding then the UK is.

Election Day's only 4 days away here. The whole thing started off pretty boring, but the NDP are rising much higher in the polls than I'm sure they even expected.
In the meantime, I'm doing whatever volunteer work they have for me in the free time. It's going to be a very busy weekend.

My goddamn girlfriend goes to University in Canada and is a citizen there, I want her to vote NDP and she won't even register to vote. Really grinds my gears. She even says she agrees more with the NDP platform : /.

That's a  shame that she won't register. I didn't even know the NDP were really spoken about much, outside of Canada.

I voted in the early polls last Friday.
That way I won't have to worry about it when I'm running around on election day.

The results in my riding were pretty close between the NDP and the Conservatives, so I want to help out however I can.

Seriously IGN?

Favorite part is where they feel the need to explain a sports phrase to gay people. That is like me making an article and explaining a paycheck to our black audience. Don't do it.

I am very politically active in the US and I try to keep tabs on a number of other countries and their politics, chiefly Canada, Germany, UK, France and.... peculiar Russia. I also try and keep up with North Korea, but given how much of a closet nation they are finding any real news is pretty difficult. I follow Australia and New Zealand a bit too, but not explicitly.

Anyways, she told me she did register today, it had been a few days since I last asked. So happy about that : ). Good luck to Layton, I don't agree with him on everything but I want Harper out of there, and I like most of his positions.

I love how he insults the Japanese for their refusal to progress past stereotypes, and then he stereotypes.

Hulu Plus on XBOX is actually pretty damn cool. Not as much content as Netflix, but it does allow for next day watching of a good deal of shows I follow: Bob's Burgers, The Office, Kitchen Nightmares, L&O:SVU (I will ban anybody who talks shit about that show   ), Daily Show, Colbert, SNL.

Will be taking advantage of the week long free trial fo sho.

psychologist are soooo stupid loooooooooooolz, all they do is agree with you constantly to try to make you happy or recommend something that they think you would like based off the listening they do.........

that's my experience at least....

i don't see how that's supposed to help me feel better when that's stuff I can do on my own...

It does seem like a lot of people are indeed annoyed at IGN. At first I thought that it was because of their comments about the PSN blackout, but now I see that something has terribly wrong in the way they present content.

There's nothing remotely usable there. I usually just glance at their IGN Movies section and man, they really need a redesign and that's just the least of their problems.

Law and Order:SVU is my top favorite show of all time. My only issue is is that I can't watch the new episodes. I can't wait till they arrive on Netflix.
