OK, this morning I had a really freaky Twilight Zone/Vanilla Sky/Inception moment...
I caught the noon train and I just managed to catch the other train on time at the other terminal, it was 3 minutes late, but it was all the time I needed.
If I hadn't caught it, I would have to wait a full hour to catch the other one and wasn't planning to wait that long past lunch hour.
It was a crowded train, so I had to stay up at least for a solid 25 minutes, so I wanted to ring my Dad and tell him the good news, that I was right on schedule.
I don't know exactly what triggered it, I made the call, my dad answered and then, either it was the very chummy manner and tone in which I spoke to him or the slighty higher pitch, but about 10 pairs of eyes, that is the people on the wagon to which I was standing and chatting, snapped and just stared at me, all in silence, as if I said something that triggered a hive mentality in which they had all responded at the same time.
I think I overeacted to the situation and since I was wearing black shades, so even if I freaked out(which I did), they would never notice it anyway.
But I froze mid-sentece and told my Dad I would call him later.
That didn't go too well either...
