I got the idea for the nose and mouth from the way the Gorillaz are drawn in profile.

Maybe one of you guys can help me:

So at my work I am one of four people on a Mac. Rest of the staff is PC. From as far as I know the company and tech support has no direct control over what I can do with the internet, and our access is shared with a University. However, since yesterday I have been unable to access sonicstadium.org. I receive an error reading "This link appears to be broken. could not locate the server (DNS error)." I get similar errors (same error, different wording) with all of my other browsers ( Flock, Firefox, Safari). All my other sites work fine, but sonic stadium never shows up. Not even the forums.

I then tried  a proxy site and got through fine, and could completely browse the site via the proxy. Why is it that Sonic Stadium is the only site that has this error for me? Am I being blocked by TSS or my work? I'd think porn, ebay and facebook would be locked before a Sonic fan site.

Any tech help would be awesome.

Yeah, maybe I can answer that...

It sometimes happens, but websites often times have a list of IPs that are blacklisted. It might be that for some reason TSS is blacklisting your IP.


But most of these cases, it's mostly because the network administrator has blocked the access for that particular site, hence having to use hidden proxies.

Network administrators are jerks like that.

Yeah, you never know. There might be a Sonic fan at the University who pissed off TSS, thus ruining it for everybody else.

I might contact a few of the mods, who I know well, and see if they can't look into it. For now, the proxy works fine.

The internet is an amazing and magical thing.

Well, after two very harsh weeks, things seem to be going my way right now.

Today I had the exam for Algorithmic Analysis and Optimization(it's mostly about Operations Research). And last time I got burned so badly because the exam was nothing like I had expected and two of the exercises had a total of 14 out of 20, and predictably I had only 6.

But today, man, I'm almost certain I'll get a high score. I had all the first 5 questions, which were 8 points. And the Transportation Problem which was also 8 points. So unless I screwed up at the Two-Phase Method, I'm looking at a 16 out of 20(which is like the highest score I've ever gotten in college).

So it might be alright.

And I'll have to do a presentation about the Chinese Postman Problem next week. I already finished a 32-page report, so now I have to worry about the presentation.

If I get a least a 10 out of 20, then I'm one step closer to getting my bachelor's degree! Oh, yeah!
