A lot of people seem to be OK with Warner Brothers cancelling Mortal Kombat X on PS3 and Xbox 360. I don't get it. Sure last gen game sales have plummeted but there are still people willing to pay for that game.

I really don't get the point on releasing games on older consoles.
Game production ceases sooner or later, might as well be as soon as possible.

And game sales on those older gen platforms (Xbox 360, PS3) have dropped significantely ever since the Xbox One and the PS4 hit the market. I get it, but for some of us who are still holding on, it's still a bit of a dick on WB's part.

And so my Toshiba's graphics card decided to die out on me yesterday. The damn laptop overheats so much that this was bound to happen. I suspected September was gonna suck big time... Hate it when I'm right.

They're remastering Iron Giant and putting it in theaters again near the end of the month with two brand new scenes, AND it just so happens to be playing in several nearby theaters AND I actually have enough money to get a ticket! I'm pretty stoked, but I don't think I'll have enough for two tickets, and I can't drive to the mall on my own, which sucks for the person to take me. But either way, I'll be figuring out some way to go see it because god damn I love that movie, and seeing it in theaters is going to be amazing.

Bad news:
My feline friend has passed. His name was Simba and he was almost 17 years old. My parents gave him to me when I was in 1st grade. I'm turning in my Masters thesis next week.. It's both endearing and ironic. It was very hard..

Good news:
I have a new car. An Alfa Romeo Mito. It's gorgeous and very powerful.

It has been a week of mixed feelings, and hard work. A lot going on right now.

But mostly...I miss my friend

Just fixed the issue where youtube videos were overlapping text content here on the forums. Was a easy fix. Hoping to spend more time working on learning and working on personal projects again (such as segabits) now that I'm starting to get settled in my apartment and am in a much better living situation overall.

Need to install linux on my desktop again now that I've given my friend my laptop to use as his computer.
