I gave a few weeks notice at my job yesterday. I've been with this company for 5 years and was relatively happy working here. Aside from the daily stress, it's been a great place to work. I found out in June that the company was closing by the end of the year. Our entire sales force was fired that same month and i was essentially put into the position of interim CEO/Operations Manager. I've been trying to make things work with 2 temps and a warehouse staff.
A company closer to LA reached out, offered me a remote gig and a bigger salary, so i had to take that chance. My boss wasn't happy about me leaving, but i honestly don't care. There is no future for me here, it's time to move on.
