We got Tintin and Asterix too.
And both of them are also on the games so they're kinda memorable too for gamers who aren't into comics.

Asterix and Obelix has had many movie adaptions and video games based on their comics.

TinTin had one game for the Mega Drive, one movie and a game based after the movie. I don't recall if he had any other games.

(When I was eight years old, I was given a teddy dog as a gift. At the time I really liked TinTin the animated series and thus I named this little stuffed dog "TinTin". I'm 34 years old now and I still can't get good night sleep without my teddy dog TinTin in my arms.)

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie plot points and new characters revealed

Tails’ Channel claims that two verified anonymous sources have told them “the synopsis was incorrect, and not indicative of Paramount’s current plans for the upcoming theatrical release”.
Here’s my take: This does not invalidate all the information nor does it mean that this information is false. It is likely Production Weekly’s information is from earlier work on the film that has since evolved.
Also, I find it odd that these sources claim the synopsis is incorrect given it is exactly what the Sonic 2 mid-credits scene sets up for a third film, yet they do not confirm or deny the mention of various characters.

SEGA plans to make Space Channel 5 and Comix Zone film adaptations

SEGA has entered into a partnership with Picturestart to develop film adaptations of the Dreamcast classic Space Channel 5 and the SEGA Genesis platformer Comix Zone.
Space Channel 5 is being written by Barry Battles and Nir Paniry.
Battles wrote and directed the 2012 crime comedy The Baytown Outlaws which starred Billy Bob Thornton and Eva Longoria.
