Pump Action! Old comic from Classic Sega Magazine

This is tying in with Classic Sega Magazine Corner, but this comic from Sega Megazone really just defies explanation and deserves a thread I think.

It was an original comic that ran in the back of Sega Megazone each month, two pages at a time. It was part tribute/part send-up of video games and well... just read it.

This part I’m posting now is after Penelope Pump and her friends were sucked into a video game world heavily reminiscent of DOOM, and are pitted against an army of Pac Men. I'll just post the links since the scans are quite large.

I just noticed that a lot of kids now would not understand almost all of this. Pretty sad...
