Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door (Gamecube) - 12 - Great price on this one, very pleased.
Dick Tracy (1990 film) DVD - 3.33 - I saw this one on TV years ago and remember liking it a lot so I'm glad to have finally tracked a copy down.

I love Dick Tracy! I still need to snag the bluray. Have you played the Genesis version? Developed by the Shinobi team, it plays very similarly, trading up horses for cars and including the machine gun mechanic.

I think that was one of my first Mega Drive games, it was ROCK HARD. Even when we bought it the lady was talking to my dad and my dad said "Is this game good?". The lady looked at 5 year old me and asked "Is he good?". The game was so much fun even though it was tough.

I came back to it years and years later as an adult thinking, 'hey here's that game that was tough when I was a kid' and guess what, it's still ridiculously hard. Great game though. The music is an underrated OST especially!!

Also, I bought this game in Australia when prices were outrageous for video games. I think it was about $125 or something.

On topic: Last thing I spent money on... Groceries.. How exciting! A dozen eggs, salad, steaks and chicken breast. I'm trying to tone up and have been lifting weights/changing my diet. Seems to be going well so far.

Yeah, I like it a lot better than the Burton Batman films from that era. Dick Tracy was actually one of the first Genesis games I owned. I bought it complete at a Funcoland for 3.99 in the Summer of 00 because I saw a screenshot on the back of a TJ&E poster and thought it looked interesting. I don't think I knew it was based on a movie at the time. The music is simple yet so catchy. I resolved to beat the game a few years later. That dock stage near the end was nuts. I remember my strategy was to walk a few steps, wait for an enemy to appear, dust them off, then repeat. Just to avoid getting overwhelmed.

That shooting gallery segment in-between levels is pretty fun too.

I picked up tickets to a Ring of Honor/New Japan wrestling show in Toronto next month.
I'm really hoping Shinsuke Nakamura shows up.

After seeing his match against Kota Ibushi this year, I'm convinced he's one of the greatest wrestlers of all time.
