Nice! Be sure to let us know what you think of Splinter Cell and Fandango when you get it!

I'm thinking of getting Xbox Live Gold again, but I'm undecided. I didn't necessarily use it all that much when I did have it.

Oh shit, I just remembered I bought Fallout 1 and 2 in a collection disk for like $10 last year and haven't played them yet.

I'd best get started on that right away.

Are there any catches to using that site?

I don't think so. I remember reading about it a while ago they were determined not to use DRM and have the simplicity/fairness of downloading and playing the games as their main selling point over other services.

I've known people who used it and loved it.

I use it. No catches. You can give out the games if you want, no restrictions and they code them to play on new Windows vers.

Also, it is ran by the guys from CD Projekt, who did The Witcher. Another game you should play.

^Thank you George, forgot about Witcher. Can't believe I did considering it's one of the best games I've played this gen by far. Still gutted the Console version was scrapped. :(

Thanks for the heads up on Good old Games.
I haven't put too much time into Splinter Cell (waiting for that gamepad to arrive), but I'm liking it so far.  It seems a bit more linear than the MGS titles that I've played lately, but I like how the lighting effects are used to cover you up.

I picked up Civilization IV for 5 bucks off of steam, so I'll check that out at some point too. Again, never played one of these games either.

I've not been in the game buying mood, I have too many games to catch up on as it is, but I have been in the comics buying mood! I've been filling in the holes of my Simpsons Comics collection. Specifically Radioactive Man and Bartman comics. I'm one away from having them all! There are roughly 40 issues featuring Radioactive Man and Bartman.

The satire of comics history is hilarious:

I picked up the indie game bundle off of steam, so I've finally got World of Goo.

Rocket Knight and the Bad Copany 2 skins pack.
I am officially poor but am another £400 closer to my car this month!

Only about 8 weeks to go at least.

Picked up the DBE DVD for cheap at my local movie rental store, they are closing, so they are selling all their DVDs for cheap.

I'll go back there tomorrow to see if I can pick up some Disney movies for cheap too.
