I just scored a factory sealed copy of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure for 24 bucks on ebay.
It's always gone for pretty ridiculous prices in the past, so I was pretty pumped with how this auction turned out.
This brings the Dreamcast collection up to a solid 75 titles.

Ohhh nice. I've never really played Jojo's, but from what I hear it's really good.

I was always interested in it, mainly because it was one of the few other CPS III games. Just not $90 interested.
It looks like it might be somewhat similar to Vampire Chronicle in atmosphere at least.  Don't know what the gameplay'll be like though.

From what I've played (about 10 minutes) it's really wacky and different to most 2D fighters.

Last thing I bought was Red Dead Redemption and Alan Wake!

Nice, I always wanted Jojo's.

I got TrueBlood season 2 on dvd and Red Dead Redemption on 360.

Oddly I was given a free 800 ms points card with RDR and an unlockable War horse (although it wasn't advertised anywhere!)

I also got the first episode of TrueBlood as a free seperate dvd for buying any HBO series.

I got a good haul today!

I got the War Horse but not the 800 Points, nice catch. I did get the Assassin outfit and Golden Guns (altough the guns aren't optional, you need to delete them to uninstall them... it looks silly having golden revolvers, but thankfully it's only 2 guns in the game). I also didn't use the War Horse for my first play, I'd rather play it through and have to upgrade/break horses. I've already broken a stallion as part of a mission and it's been my loyal horse since.

Also do I have you on my XBL Friends list?

Ordered Batman: Private Bookcase.

It's a been a while since I bought a graphic novel.

I'm starting to think that buying GNs is better than buying comics. At least, I don't have to worry about missing out and not knowing what to do with an incomplete series.

I only buy TPBs, I couldn't hack waiting a month for 24 pages at a time. I used to download 100 Bullets when it was current and couldn't enjoy the comic when I had to wait so long in between chapters. I then read them all when the run was finished, much, much better.

Last thing I bought was tickets to the Hot Lap challenge/Drifting at Eastern Creek.

I remember seeing the crazy people at comic book shops who would buy 10-15 issues a week, plunking down a couple hundred dollars each time just to keep up with Marvel superheros.

I usually just buy TPBs, but I don't have that many. I am, however, interested in getting All-Star Superman. Awesome self-contained mini-series that draws on 50's Superman visuals:

All-Star Superman is brilliant. It's the only Superman story I've read, but I loved it, great introduction and explanation of the character. Even haters like Aki-at would like it! (just fooling bro, you're alllright aki-at).

We need to make a comic book general thread soon, so I can harp on about 100 Bullets and stuff.

Nice! The only major difference between that and the US/UK is that the JP version had the Japanese cartridge artwork, right?

I gotta say, I love Sonic Jam. The ultimate re-release of the originals in my opinion. More than just ROMs, they actually have difficulties and enhancements that can be adjusted. Add in the fact that you get all the Japanese manuals, cover art from every region, tons of images, commercials, short cartoons, bios, 3D world... not to mention you can use the excellent Saturn pad and output in stereo and s-video. Awesome. Congrats!

I'm picking up RDR today! Sort of a gift to myself for my promotion. I'm thinking I'll go the Best Buy. Word on the net is that the pre-order war horse bonus is still included in some stock. Think I'll grab a copy from the back of the shelf and take my chances on some free DLC.

Thanks :).
I'm just hoping that that PC Saturn controller will show up by the time I get it.
