Final Fight: Double Impact.

Awesome game. I think I played it through around 5 times with my girlfriend when it came out. Couldn't get her into Magic Sword though.
It's cool. But I'm really pissed off that you have to be connected to PSN to start the game. What's even worse is that they don't even warn you about it.
I'm disconnected most of the time, so I have to go through much work just to play the game.
I'm not buying anything from Capcom in a long time.

I never really run into that because I'm always hooked up to the wireless. That does sound pretty lame.

Bought a can of this at the mall:

I'll probably never drink it.

I just ordered a new iPod, as the one I've had for a few years has kicked the bucket.  I've tried formatting it a few times, but it says it's got 50mb free, and yet also has no files on it.....
Anyway, new one should be here by the end of the week.

Which one did you get?

I was thinking about getting a touch (because I probably won't ever get an iPhone due to the mandatory data plan), but I couldn't really justify the cost.
I mostly just use the iPod when I run, so I got a 16GB iPod nano.
(Product) Red.

The built in pedometer and fm radio would be a nice bonus towards the whole running thing.  It's got a different shape than my old one, so I'll have to get a new armband :-/

Bought a new (used) faceplate for my 360. $5. The USB door of my current one has always been broken, new one will fix that. Yay!

Welp! I bought a blu-ray player! It wasn't a PS3 (those from the "what ____ should I buy?" thread are booing me), but hear me out. It cost $100, list price $200, and is #2 in best players for under $200. It's a panasonic, just like my TV, so score one for the Viera link (http://panasonic.net/avc/viera/us2010/viera-link/). Some reviews even stated it has the same tech as the high end players, but is $200 less as it does not include wi-fi. No biggie, wired connection is a piece of cake.

I'm excited! Also picked up blu-rays of The Dark Knight, Terminator 2 & Salvation, Complete Wallace & Gromit and Clone Wars season 1. Total cost = $180, player and cables included. Saves me $110 compared to the PS3, and I won't feel pressured to buy a load of PS3 games. Trust me, I'd go poor buying PS3 games would I have the system. I blame by inability to stop spending. :P

Aw well, it's all freelance money! Wahahahaha!

The last thing I purchased was the Untold Stories from Resident Evil 5 and the Bonus Pack for Magna Carta 2.

I just bought a DVD recorder for my computer. I've lost count of how many I've had...These things break so damn easily it hurts.

My boo to you, Mr Barry. How much did you pay for the HDMI cable? I hope it wasn't much, all of them do the trick the exact same way.

$3 for the HDMI cable. ;)

I tell ya, the PS3 was tempting, but the idea of buying into a whole 'nother console and buying a whole new batch of games and getting into a whole 'nother online community was too daunting. I know me, and if I bought the PS3 now, I would have bought every game I couldn't play on the 360. Problem is, I have yet to finish 90% of the games I have for the 360. When The Last Guardian and (hopefully) Yakuza 1&2 HD arrive, then I'll enter the PS3 world. Til then, I'm loving the idea of having a video input solely dedicated to DVDs and Blu-rays. No changing the picture settings every time from Game to Cinema and no pop up windows of friends while I'm trying to watch Sex in the City 2 in HD.

lol, i wasn't going to say it, but you did so now I don't have to.

No, but really, what is Home like. I hear about it, but it doesn't seem as connected with the GUI as the 360's avatars are.

fear not, I'll be getting a PS3 next year!

and a Kinect in November... did I just say that!? I mean... ah... uh...

Home isn't really that special. Supposedly it's improved over time, but last time I checked it out, there wasn't much to do, but wander around some areas and chat with people.

It did lead to the Quincy though

I heard they've added some games to it, but I haven't really checked them out.
