The resemblance is uncanny, and more than a coincidence I think. It looks nice though.

Ordered an Xbox 360 carry case just in case I want to bring my 360 over to a friend's house safely.

As they say, this is the best Android phone right now..
Still there are some things you just have to live with. For example, you only get mail notifications after running the email app. You have to get an app-killer to effectively close running apps. The contacts list sometimes is all over the place with email addresses mixed with phone numbers, it took me a while to link every contact to their emails and such.

Still, these are all small Android issues. They aren't related to the phone nor are they deal-breaking. It all runs great. Sometimes it slows down a bit but they say Android 2.2 fixes that, an update is due next 3 months or something.

Android still has some room for improvement, but it's the best. 2.1 is almost up to par with the iPhone. I think this phone is a great buy.

I like the EVO 4G, especially considering my town has 4G coverage. But I don't pay for my cell phone due to being on a family plan. Only reason I'm with ATT..

I hear 2.2 makes it 50% faster, that is good. Galaxy S gets the update in September or you  can root the phone and install it now. But I hear that is a pain.

You should also know that, from what I read, the Evo 4G is a wonderful piece of portable technology but has a horrible battery life. Maybe it's not as clamorous as they make it, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Also, if the rumors are true, the Galaxy S will support Android 3.0 when it comes out later this year/early next year.

Well give me feedback on how your liking it. I think ill call for a early upgrade and see if I can do it. I hate my phone.

EVO 4G no longer the only 4G (or the best). Sprint's version of Galaxy S beat it, according to gizmodo. Also the best Galaxy S phone on the market, has a keyboard (and 4G).

I just read that article and quite frankly I wouldn't choose the Epic over my Galaxy. It's very heavy, way thicker and the battery life doesn't last a day. On the other hand: keyboard, flash camera and 4G. Some people may prefer it..

I'll try it out for a couple more days to give you a more informative opinion on software and stuff.
But as for the hardware and the first experiences so far it's great. Really great.
It's quite big. Feels very good on the hand but quite large in your pocket. I don't mind though cause I use my jacket's inner pocket most of times.
The battery seems to last about a day and half of normal use (one hour or two of games, a couple of calls, some texts and emails, checking some news on the internet).
There are a lot of apps. There are some really good ones, but most of it is crap. The market helps out by featuring the best apps.
The screen is gorgeous.

A couple deals on ebay.
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door for Gamecube, and Evil Twin for Dreamcast.

I keep thinking I'm done getting Dreamcast games, but every once in a while I find one that I'm kinda interested in popping up for a good deal.  Can't seem to help myself.

Let me know how Evil Twin is. I remember the Offical Dreamcast Mag in the US was writing about it quite a bit before they went out of business and the US version was canned.

Will do. It might be a while before I get around to playing it through, but I'll check it out for a bit once I get it to give you some quick impressions.
