I only saw the theatrical versions in the theaters.  They have faded from memory.

And some things that should not have been forgotten were lost. History became legend. Legend became myth. And for two and a half thousand years, the theatrical versions passed out of all knowledge.

Inside of the LOTR EE bluray set:

I'm liking the black bluray cases. Baby blue totally would have clashed with the design.

Only downside I'm hearing is that the EE bluray set will include DVD discs for the extras, as the content was not produced in HD when first released so it couldn't be in HD in the upcoming set. So one blu disc per film, plus two DVD bonus discs and an unnecessary digital download disc.

Still, it's the movies that count and thankfully they're including some HD documentaries on the movie discs.

They could probably have fit all the SD stuff on one blu-ray disc.  Also it's kind of sad when they waste an entire DVD for the digital download, when often it's just an itunes unlock code.  Sometimes the movie is on there, but often you still have to download it.

I wish it had new content. Like interview with actors about the upcoming hobbit film etc.

I'll bet that come The Hobbit's release, the EE blurays will receive individual releases that will have Hobbit features. Then, when the Hobbit hits bluray those same features will be on those. Then they'll repackage the EE set with the hobbit movies and call it Uncle Peter's Middle Earth Bonanza Box.

Warner Bros. and New Line are the masters of double dipping.

Got a Hori Arcade Stick for Xbox 360, was on special online at Big W.

Not as pretty as my custom built ones, but it has a headphone jack and is probably more reliable than my amatuer electronics work.

I'm thinking of buying the fightstick for MVC3.  Not the Madcatz one, but the other one.

I called up Sony to see how much it would be to fix my PSP.
Answer: $134

So I took a trip around town to see if I could find a better deal. Turns out Staples had the PSP Go on clearance for $99, so yeah. Brand new PSP for $100  :D.
This morning I decided I'd give Playstation Plus a shot, and used the discount to pick up the new God of War for PSP at half price.

Is that a Canada only sale? I don't think the staples in my neighborhood would have the device or the sale going on.
