I want Graves of the Firefly. Though I don't think Disney ever will publish that or Princess Mononoke...

Sad, I like Disney, they do quality Bluray releases.

I think Miramax distributed Mononoke, though I hope Disney now has the rights to distribute it. I think they do, so its only a matter of time. John Lasseter would gladly pour money into the release. Grave of the Fireflies is tricky, I believe. It is now owned by ADV, who are lazy asses. I own the original 2 disc Central Park Media DVD which is awesome. Lots of commentary from the makers as well as Roger Ebert, who knows his shit. Full movie in storyboards too.

1. Disney buys ADV
2. Disney re-releases Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie in a super nice edition
3. SEGA is allowed to re-release all of their Master System/Game Gear and Genesis Disney games
4. SEGA makes Universe of Illusion Staring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck for HD consoles
5. ???
6. PROFIT!!

If the Pixar DIsney partnership worked, I see no reason why a Disney SEGA partnership wouldn't work.

Hell, the arcade at Downtown Disney was basically 75% SEGA when I last visited it. And Sonic looks like Mickey.

I just ordered some more X-Men comics. I'm just about caught up on that 3 year gap where I didn't buy any.
Fun fact: Disney owns Marvel.

I just imagine some guy taking Dracula for a walk, and he gets so excited when he sees another vampire that he breaks his leash.

I pre-ordered Star Wars and LOTR on Blu-Ray

SW is going to kick serious ass on blu. LOTR will be great, but I wish there were better features. Not just recycled extras from the DVD complete with them being the same DVDs released years ago.

Bought a few DVDs filled with retro commercials and educational films from the local record shop. Theres this great series where each volume has a theme, I picked up the Marriage one for obvious reasons. Though I also want to get the Atomic Bomb Survival volume.

"Should I Marry Outside My Faith?" is just so, so, so wrong.

The only thing I hate about the Pixar and Disney partnership is that they now focus on shit outside of the film. Like Cars 2 is coming due to the film making tons of profit in toy sales, yet did half as great as The Incredibles. But since the Incredibles didn't sell toys that much, we don't get a sequel.

Also tons of analyst doubted UP would do great and it probably wasn't great for Pixar's stock compared to Cars. Sucks man...

BTW: I hate Cars.

I was "meh" on the first Cars. Loved the desert vistas, amazing environments, but the characters felt like they came straight out of a sitcom from the 60's. The Italian is an Italian! The army guy is a tough army guy! The hick is a hick!

The second Cars looks okay, but I probably won't see it in theaters...

However there is a Toy Story short before the movie, so I guess I will see it during a matinee.
