SC5! A wise buy! Does it have the cover where the image changes?

@SEGA_Portuguese:
Congrats on the SP5 purchase :D. You're in for a treat.

I swung by Futureshop on my lunch break at work and picked up DJ Hero from the clearance bin for $4.97.
They've got Yakuza 4 for $14.98, but I've already got it :(.

Bought 10 sessions of IPL/Flashlamp hair removal. I am so tired of waxing all the time.

@max_cady: Does that last a long time?

Yesterday, I dropped some money on a pre-order of the special edition of Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. That gold Wii-mote plus is mine :D.

Depends on the hair color, the type of hair, how well it responds to flashlamp, etc, based on that the effect can last for 2-3 years. Beats having to wax every 2/3 months(and it's painful as Hell)!

Sounds like a pretty good deal.
I waxed my chest for a halloween costume about 2 years back. I'm not a very hairy guy, but I do remember the pain pretty vividly.

Went to Target last night for cat food and dishwashing liquid, and passed the blu-ray section. Saw this beaut for $47 and caved. I was planning on getting it in a few months, but I just love the first film too much to wait. JP is probably one of my favorite movies, next to Batman (1989), Back to the Future, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, The Empire Strikes Back and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. It's one of those movies I could watch in my head if I wanted to (and was crazy enough to). The six part documentary is pretty sweet, lots of early effects footage. Back in 1993/1994 a Jurassic Park exhibit was touring the country and hit our science museum. It had a TON of props from the film. I remember seeing the original banner and skeletons from the JP lobby, Mr. DNA animation cells and ID tags for Dennis and Sam Jackson. Oh yeah! And the Barbasol can, lol.

Shame parts 2 and 3 suffered from including only one main character from the original film in each. I'll bet JP2 would be way better had they included Dr. Grant and the kid Tim along with Jeff Goldblum's Malcolm. Have the other characters cameo in the beginning. JP2 is like if Empire Strikes Back only featured Han Solo and Chewie and had him going after a secret weapon created by the Empire, but you didn't see Vader or Luke or Leia. Instead you had all these new characters you didn't care about.

JP3 was a bit better in concept, but was WAY too short. Damn thing was 90 minutes! I hate when a third film in a series is much shorter than the others (see X-Men 3 as another example).

HMV seems to be getting rid of all of their video games, so I picked up Professor Layton and the Unwound Future, and Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story for 20% off.

Sonic Generations for 360  8)

And my pre-order shipped for the Sonic Generations Collector's Edition from Germany.  ;D Had to choose Germany as the UK Amazon won't ship games to the US.

So yeah, I will have two copies of the game. :P I considered trading in my US version if the German version works on my console, but then I thought about how the German version won't have American packaging (it'll be in German and have that huge ugly rating stamp). So I guess I'll keep both.

Bought a used copy of Red Dead Redemption off Amazon.

I've been sorta delaying it for a while, because I wanted to get it dirt cheap. Now if only I could do the same for that one game that keeps blowing me over, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

Wow. good job sir.
Now that's a serious gaming achievement. You're in for a treat with the early games. Yakuza 1 is a bit rough around the edges (gameplay-wise. The story's top notch), but things really come together with the second title.
