Is it strange that I don't know any girls that actually like Video games? I mean, I know a few of my mates girlfriends have said stuff like they enjoyed Banjo Kazooie on N64, or they once played Halo or something but thats it.

I do know a girl who liked comic books, but she hadn't read Preacher or Watchmen, so I was like Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?

Did you punch her in the face and say Archie doesn't count?

They're pretty rare.  I know a couple that are big into JRPG's and stuff like Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon.

I can't remember what she did read, but it was certainly better than Archie at least. I do remember she said Venom comics were her 'guilty pleasure', and I can't for the life of me remember what else she read.
I think one was some Australian comic named "Chrome" or similar.

Oh and Identity Crisis or something like that.

:p as for comics, im a big fan of those too... Ive just cut my titles in half though :( ...was getting a little to expensive.

:/ ...looks like ill be buying graphic novels instead.

..most of the girls I know who read comics read Spider-man and X-men...

I asked around a bit last two days, and I actually know some 5/6 girls that are into games.
Or A game at least. One only plays Guitar Hero, other SoR and Mortal Kombat, another only plays GTA.
Then some play all the good stuff.

Also some of my female friends likes videogames even if they doesen't play as much as me. It's not true there aren't female gamers, if you just look around you can see it :afroman:

No girls on the internet.

Girls are meant to be in the kitchen or enjoyed sexually. I saw it on TV. TV DOES NOT LIE.

My girlfriend hates games.
She used to play Megadrive with her brother growing up so I bought an extra PS3 pad to play the megadrive collection with me.
She played about half an hour of Streets of rage and that was it. bloomin' waste of £30! (the dualshock 3 not the collection, that is pure awesome!)

Apart from that she 'plays' wiifit and I let her win on Mariokart wii.
I will make her play SASAR as it's better than MK in almost every way (no 2player online and no 2 player cup games)

I think it stems from,

'Look baby I just preordered an Xbox360, it's my first console since the Dreamcast but I swear it'll be me last'.

followed a year later by,

'I know I said that the 360 would be my last console but the wii is so different I hardly think it counts. I promise that this will be my last.'

followed a year later by

'Okay I am getting a PS3 but I am selling my wii on ebay to pay for it, this is just lke swapping consoles so it doesn't count.'

followed by her coming home in august to see a wii in the tv bench next to my PS3 and 360.

'sigh'

Maybe it is better that she just lays down next to you and watches you play. I mean, don't want to fight over her for the controller.  :|

I was just joking about the pad, I wanted it for the sega game and also for the rumble anyway.

Also, I don't play games when it's the two of us as I know she wouldn't enjoy it.
