I don't get it... How can you f*** up such a simple premise?

What was so wrong about the original show's format that you have to add 2 new characters that are completely worthless and add absolutely nothing to the show!?

What was exactly wrong with the show's format that they had to change it up so much?

It was bad enough that they decided to clumsly tie up all the loose ends from the first season in the first 5 minutes and one of the vital characters from that last episode of dissapeared for no apparent reason.

It should've been a full episode on it's own. Instead we are treated to two female leads, that quite honestly should've been just one-time or two-time characters, instead they are schedulled to appear in all the planned episodes.

They add nothing, in many situations they just get in the way. That Ames character pretty much killed any sense of menace emanating from Jackie Earle Haley's character. Everytime she walks into frame, it literally feels like she passed security and just barged onto the set and the director and the producers were just too lazy to kick her out and reshoot the scene.

And her attitude... I don't understand why Guerrero is putting up with her, that character has murdered people in the show for much less.

And that Ilsa character is also starting to get on my nerves and I've only watched the second episode. Again, another character who is completely pointless and worthless, anytime she's onscreen she belittles Chance and Winston, again, much like Ames, she literally feels like she barged into the set, Winston gives her this look at one point that sums up exactly what I think about it.

And funny thing is the babes that were featured every episode on the last season actually had personality and charm.

I just watched the first two series of Misfits.
It's not available here, but a friend of mine downloaded it.

Any thoughts on it from anybody that's actually from the U.K.?

Is this Human Target? I want to read the comic of that.

There's isn't an Ongoing series but there's a GN that was just recentely released that's based on the new TV show.

But these first episodes have been nothing short of atrocius. Look at these reactions shots of the 3 main protagonists everytime one of the new female leads are in frame:

I like it, quite a bit, a friend of mine loves it.

If you want a show that I dont think you can get in America but I think is amazing try 'Being Human' and 'Survivors'

Being Human is a dark comedy about Vampires and Werewolves trying to fit into society... It sounds shitty and 'twilight' but trust me it is nothing like it sounds... It's very good.

Surivivors kind of reminds me of Lost... But not shitty and not on an Island... But still very mysterious, its post apocolyptic, everyone has died form some kind of killer flu pandemic apart from a few people and they are trying to survive + weird government shit + strange clouds that havent been explained... It's probably my favourite series ATM.
(Be careful Survivors is a remake of a 70s series with the same name, make sure you get the series that started in 2008-9...)

Just when you thought Anime had nothing more to offer, out comes Panty & Stocking. I watched the entire first season, last week.

I was not prepared for this. At a glance, this feels like a messed up version of Powerpuff Girls. And it's sure feels like it, the guys who did it probably had this thought process: "Hey, guys, have you seen all those american shows that try to emulate our style of animation? Well, let's do a spoof of one of Gennedy Tartakovsky's cartoons, but really mess them up. Let's add crude language, sex jokes, toilet humor and every episode will be a parody of an american motion picture!".

And it really delivers. There's a huge Transformers parody, there's a laugh out loud George Romero zombie spoof.

I recommend this. That's the first time I've had nothing but good things to say about anime in a long time.

True Blood, just finished Season 2 and a 4 eps into Season 3.

I have to say, Season 2 is, so far, way better than Season 3. I'm not into the plot all over again that 'Bill' gets taken 'hostage'. For a vampire, he seriously is weak. lol.

Godric really showed more of a 'new side' of a vampire and thought his story with Eric was really good.

Nothing, its a great show done by Alan Ball who did American Beauty and Six Feet Under. I was on the fence about seeing it because I hate vampires due to Twilight craze, but the vampires on here are more 'sexual driven' and 'brutal', I like the concept of 'V' and some of the things they do.

Its a great show. You should watch it.

I have watched it... I've seen a good deal of episodes and I find it really, really boring. It's like a soap opera with vampires...

six feet under was also bloody boring...

I used to love the whole vampire genre... But ever since girls started liking them it turned into a complete peice of shit genre. I swear every time girls start to like something, it becomes shit almost instantly.

^Good point. Vampires seem to have some inherent romantic appeal to them in some way. Even Bram Stoker's Dracula movie adaption was primarily a love story.

Having said that, the difference between that movie and something like Twilight is still night and day. Sharky should go and watch the first two Blade Movies again, that will cheer him up.
