Sega old IP Revival Video
« on: March 08, 2011, 06:50:44 pm »
Been a while since I have posted something here ... This topic is between Classic Sega and General Sega so I am not sure where to post it. Feel free to move it to the other section.

I am just helping our friends at SEGA Nation to promote a very interesting video :

Long shot to call for those but hey if at least one happen, It would be great. And if you can help post it in some of your forums that would be nice.

Cheers.

Nice video. I don't go to any other forums, but I'll put it up on my personal blog and spread it to my friends.

Woah, been a long time...

Fixed your video btw,
(post only the final 'code' of the youtube URL to make it work.)

Good video, even if you snubbed the UK!

Nice video, but you forgot Blazing Heroes for Saturn.

And Shenmue, by Am2 and Amusement Vision?

Which old Ip to ask for a revival, is very subjective ...

This is not my video - I am a messenger, I would have had Psycho Fox, Astal, Space Channel 5 etc ... if it was mine :)

Members of AV and AM2 participated in the dev of game back then. I believe they want to have the same designers and team ...

Welcome Back Echinda.

It would be awesome to have the old developers get another chance at the IPs they created.

Yes, but they had a minimal hand in it. It was probably 98% Am2. The original teams worked with Sumo Digital on their IPs in ASR, but they weren't credited as developers. AV likely did very little.

Mizuguchi was also on staff with Nagoshi for Shenmue. But they didn't contribute anywhere near what YS or Am2 did to the game.
