yes I do watch let's plays on YT. The main reason is to learn if I actually want to spend the money on game. Let's say that I got interested in a title that is out of my typical genre. I enjoy the plot or some other element but the rest is a big question mark. I will watch some videos to see if I really like it. I must say that it let me save money quite a few times.
Other than that I also watch let's play to get better in a game, to improve, learn new things.
