I'm not saying whenever it's a good or bad business move whenever they will or not. Purely speculative and imaginitive on what if Sega made a brand new console after Dreamcast, or if you come up with a ficitonal Sega console what would it be called?
For example, to go with the theme of
planet codenames, I would call Sega's new console the "Sega Nibiru", named after the
Nibiru cataclysm. I imagine such a console would be more of a gaming PC console than a proper console, kind of like VALVe's
Steam Machine. The console can have it's own digital distribution service as well as promote other services that Sega do business with such as Steam and... well I dunno what other services Sega are assosiated with.
As for what the console will look like, I dunno.
