NWO...

Best Wrestling Stable Ever...

Or how to kill a wrestling company.

Err, nWo was the one of the most important parts of WCW's success during the Monday Night Wars. It was stupid decisions like giving Hogan, Nash etc creative control in their contracts, and Vince Russo's batshit insane booking that killed WCW...

Exactly, the nWo was literally run by Hogan and friends. The nWo was the rise but was also the hard fall of WCW.

So, about that game Vanquish... PN03 2?

Let's hope not, but it might inherit something from it.. I was just thinking there might be some clues in that rather than thinking Mikami was doing an FPS.

True. Sorry about that.

The way the guy describes Vanquish, it almost feels like it's an answer to the old school Metroid game(or the most recent Shadow Complex).

I hope Mikami shows Nintendo how to do Metroid like Kojima showed them how to do Zelda with Okami.

This isn't Mikami's game. He's just producing it.

Clearly if you saw the trailer, you would see that he is directing it and Atsushi Inaba is producing it.

Instead i am increasingly convinced that this will be an FPS with "innovative" elements as it was METROID PRIME at the time , although until now i myself would have bet on a third-person shooter ,  which i prefer.

Don't you think engine wise this might be the true next gen "successor" to the RE4 engine?

I'm envisioning a third-person shooter with QTE's and CQC.

CQC?

I agree it would have been nice to see a rehaul to the RE4 style, seeing as RE5 didn't really do much to advance the series at all (Still a fun game though).

At this point I'm happy to just sit back and wait to see how it pans out though, I really don't know what to predict now.

I liked the ideas for PN03, but when I played it... oh, well... extremely shitty controls and system.

I hope Vanquish to have a third person view.

A third-person shooter is what i hope but when the designer of the suit speaks about METROID in those terms i immediately comes to mind PRIME , stop.

I think the game engine will blow people minds , really knock peoples socks off BIG Time. I hoping for it to be more like Lost Planet than HALO ;)
