I beat Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake.
Huge improvements over the first game. Still a bit too much back tracking, but at least the game adds in some shortcuts, and streamlines the inventory a bit.

The story was exceptionally well done. I think that if this was released on Genesis or SNES, it would've had a huge following by today.

I finally managed to beat the last boss in Dissidia: Final Fantasy.
I had to get my character up to level 73 to finally pull it off o_O.

The Caanoo was delivered today! I'll probably pick up a 4GB or 8GB card and hold off on the 32. No need to go crazy... yet. :D

I've been playing the new mini games that were added to Kinect Sports and they are a lot of fun! Theres this cool Space Invaders-like bowling game where the pins move towards you and the other cool mini game is a volleyball one where you hit fruit as it flies over the net and avoid bombs. It seems the most fun I've had with kinect is when they move away from real world stuff and go for wacky games.

About 30 minutes of Vanquish. Now I feel a whole lot better with this game!

Still playing Mafia 2: Joe's Adventure. I really like the wacky missions in this, there was a 'Speed' style mission where you need to keep a car above 35 MPH across the city, and there was even one in a hot-rod hearse with no brakes.

Apart from that, still working on my Ceaser's Legion playthrough of Fallout New Vegas. I just killed the drug-fiend named Motor-Runner and took his fusion powered chainsaw.

Playing Snatcher (SEGA CD, obviously) on the Caanoo. Great game! Graphics and sounds are awesome, great sprite animation. The Metal Gear reference was pretty funny. I assume then that Snatcher and Metal Gear occur in the same universe.

Have you played it before?
Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake has a reference to Snatcher as well, so I think you're probably right about the same universe thing.

I've never played it before. It's really impressive for the SEGA CD! Looking forward to receiving my Caanoo video out cables so I can enjoy the game on a TV screen.

The violence is so freakin' 90's, I love it!

*Adds Snatcher to list of games to play*

Also, with regards to MGS/Snatcher correlation, I heard something about a robot assistant in Snatcher that was meant to be a prototype Metal Gear?

As for what I'm playing, I've been playing Need for Speed Hot Pursuit the last few days. It's pretty fun, and playing as a cop really reminds me of the classic Chase HQ game. Playing online is fun too, but the lag can make things a bit weird/frustrating as you don't get a second chance if you've been wrecked.

From what I remember, the engineer who built the Metal Gear assistant in Snatcher said he based the designs from a machine built in the late 20th century, though the engineer said his design is far friendlier than the original Metal Gear.

Snatcher happens a lot later on than Metal Gear.  There's a computer in Snatcher that has an encyclopedia of sorts. It gives the history of the whole world, and references a few names from the Metal Gear series as well.

This is a bit of spoiler for Metal Gear 2 on the MSX, but:
[spoiler:1rg2e643]Big Boss' survival of the fight at the end of the first game is explained as him being a participant in the Snatcher project.  He's basically a cyborg when you fight him the second time.[/spoiler:1rg2e643]

Fable 3, bought the special edition for the same price as the normale one. Looks like the second one but i like it anyway and i like that you can come back to the chamber anytime you want to customize your character, dog and weapon. Go kicks chickens!
