Over the weekend I finished Madworld and The Conduit.  I also played Dark Savior for Saturn, and decided I don't like it.  I'll be selling all 3 of those games, plus Bayonetta if anyone is interested.

Well, after I've had a falling out with Resonance of Fate last Summer, I ordered the game again in January and I finally got back (good thing I didn't erase the save file) at it. Enjoying it a lot, despite the messed up difficulty.

I started playing Sonic Colours. In terms of characters/story it's by a huge margin the best Sonic game in a decade. Amazing turnaround from Sonic 06 and Unleashed.

As far as gameplay goes, it's okay so far, nothing mind blowing. Better than Unleashed at least. I'm up to the boss where you need to chase the ship and homing attack it repeatedly while avoiding machine-gun fire. Am I missing something? I chased and attacked it for like 15 minutes and didn't destroy it...

ALso still playing Civ 5, awesome game.

Played a bit of the recently released You Don't Know Jack last night. Awesome trivia game! If you have fond memories of the mid 90's PC games, pick this up pronto. It's only $30 new.

Slick presentation, great humor and very creatively written questions. You can play on XBOX Live, so no fear of playing the game only when guests come over. You can also play solo, which is fun. Game includes 73 episodes of ten questions each. Bonus episode packs are available for download at $5, with 10 episodes per pack.

Played a bit of RoomMania #203 on the DC last night. BEST import game I've played in a long time! Despite the language barrier, the visual hints are very helpful. It actually makes the game a lot of fun to try to decipher whats going on. Adds a fun element that to the game, as though I'm screwing with a foreign man. which, I guess I sort of am.

@Barry:
I've heard good things about that one, but really have no idea what it's about. I tend to shy away from imports that aren't shooters/fighting games because of the whole language thing. I might have to keep an eye out for this one though.

It's worth picking up. Basically, after hitting "A" through the menus (there is a menu faq online, but I was too lazy to print it out) you are shown a few cutscenes of the guy in his apartment, then you see a calendar. You can select days from the calender, and I don't think you are confined to an order. I played the first day of the week, then the third, then the second.

After picking a day, you then choose a sun or a moon. The sun presents a short cutscene highlighting your objective, for example have the guy set his alarm clock, then you are tossed into the apartment. You watch him via a number of camera angles, and get his attention by tossing invisible ping pong balls at objects. Toss the balls in a steady pace, not too fast, and the guy will go and use the object. Objective complete! After that, you can mess about until the timer runs out. The radio and TV have bits of Dreamcast audio and video. I swear I heard an advert for Sonic Adventure.

The moon allows you to fly/float about his apartment and mess with things. So far, I've been limited to one thing, but maybe this changes later in the game. You can lock the door, move the table, turn on the stove, etc. Then when you play the next day, you get to see him return home and react to the change, usually with a "wha-wha!? wha!??" and he walks about like somebody might be messing with him. Pretty funny.

oh yeah! the audio is fantastic. every camera angle change, changes the direction from which the audio is coming from. the TV sounded muted and to the left in the kitchen, but it was loud and to the right when I was in the office area.

Despite being all japanese, the objectives being visually presented make it easy. Not sure how far I'll get until something crops up that confuses me, but so far so good. If you like Seaman, the sims, or just odd imports, check it out.

Sounds pretty cool. I did enjoy Seaman.
I devoted a solid 2 weeks of my life to that game. No messing with the system clock for me ;D.

Played a truly absurd amount of Civ 5 Today.

Also played a bit of Sonic Colours, and while it's not bad, I wouldn't say it's great either. I think a lot of the hype for this is that it's a Sonic game that's not genuinely horrible. Still pretty fun though.
Also I get the feeling that Sonic saying 'Nobody said there would be maths' is a nod to Madworld's commentary team again.

Killzone 3 is really addicting. I'm shocked... I didn't play the second one much online.

I'm spending a lot of time level grinding in Resonance of Fate and stockpilling molotov cocktails. Those mechanical statues are very sensitive to fire. I'll use that to my advantage.
