Bioshock 2 is really really good. Both single and multiplayer, I gotta say they surprised me.

It's such a lovely weekend here, so I've spent it getting the platinum trophies for infamous, sasar and modern warfare 2.
I'm at a grand total of 8 platinum trophies now!
You are my challenger now. 4 right now, I shall beat you.

Oh we'll see!

My brother is behind me at 7, although he has stooped low enough to go the terminator salvation route.

I beat Yakuza 2. Boy, what an experience that was!

To be honest, at first I thought the game was pretty slow and some of the first things I noticed were things I did not like. I miss how in the first game you could press square then triangle to knock most weaker enemies down and one of the first things I tried out was the YF6 arcade game... Ugh...

But that all changed pretty soon, and especially the last few hours were just so incredible. Seriously. Every tweak to the world and art, every scene with Majima, every reference to games like Streets of Rage [spoiler:3hb2mbyr](Seriously, the second to  last boss was totally Mr X)[/spoiler:3hb2mbyr], Shinobi and Virtua Fighter kept me smiling throughout... Not to mention that the game is just such a massive improvement to everything in the first game. The side missions are all such a blast, like I already decided to play through the unlockable Adventure Mode and I am going to see if I can get anything else unlocked after that, but if not, oh well it is still just tons of fun anyway! I also am certain I will play through the main game a bunch of times in the future, which is so...so...so rare for RPGs.

Something I really need to bring up is that the game is probably the best game on the console graphically. I have played over 200 PlayStation 2 games (used to have to test games for it) and have never seen one game come to the level of detail this game pulls off. It is seriously mind blowing as to what they were able to pull off in such a short amount of time and how Sony themselves could not do as good.

Such an incredible experience. One of the best RPGs I have ever played. Now I am just sad that I will not get to fully play through Yakuza 3 for potentially... Years. Not only does the console have like barely anything I want on it at all, but it is just way out of my price range.

Glad to hear you enjoyed Yakuza 2 so much. It's definitely one of my favorite PS2 games.

I just beat Yakuza 3 incidentally.  Fantastic as expected.  It's probably the first Yakuza game where I got as hooked on all the side missions and mini games as much as I did.  I put 23 hours into this game, and I finished with less than 20% cleared.  There is just so much content in this game, it's obscene.  I think that I still like the overall plot in the 2nd game a bit more, but all the advancements in the jump to the PS3 are fantastic.

I've been trying to play final fight but it is unsharable.
I only bought it for two player co op online but I guess my friend will need to buy his own copy.

Did this come before streets of rage?

Yep, I think Streets of Rage was a direct response to Final Fight. I also think it's superior.

I've tried starting Headhunter for the Dreamcast late last night, but was too sleepy to focus. I own the PS2 version, but never played it. Mostly because it just didn't feel right not on a Dreamcast.

I played Sonic Riders for the first time, it sucks but I really want to unlock Nights, Aiai, Ulala and the Opa Opa board. Maybe I just need more practice?

It's a pretty odd racing game, but once it "clicks" it's actually pretty fun.  Hard as hell, but fun.  I haven't played it for a few years, so I'd probably suck a lot if I tried to pick it up now though.

I think I need to brew some tea, light a candle and crack open the instruction manual. After playing it a bit more, I'm starting to see where I was going wrong. But the whole air system was confusing the hell out of me.

Another 2 hours wandering the streets of WhiteChapel, one particular puzzle was a bit tricky, because you had to have some knowledge of certain American Civil War battles.

Sherlock Holmes vs Jack The Ripper is a very good Adventure game.

Do not forget the Hang-On bike! When you use it the Hang-On theme plays and everything! "Knuckles is gooooooooing momentum!"

I thought the game was alright, but WAY too hard later on, especially if you want all of that extra content. An alright purchase I guess, but Zero Gravity is worse in every way, not sure how that happened. Oh yeah, Sonic Team.

If they make a third one (WHICH THEY BETTER FUCKING NOT) it should have an unlockable STRANGE MINECART.
