As this is a slow SEGA month and I will not be buying new releases, I picked up Banjo-Kazooie Nuts & Bolts for $15. It's a beautiful game! I can't wait to get me some flying vehicles.

Awesome game, the vehicle editor is really great.
The only problem I had was making a giant Alex Kidd, he just kept falling over and by the time I had supported him he looked rubbish.

Just finished Sherlock Holmes vs Jack the Ripper.

Pretty freaky ending.

An interesting and reasonable take on this mystery without getting too over-the-top or wander into the realm of the supernatural.

A frankly morbid game, too.

Today's mission: Finish the first disk of Skies of Arcadia.
I'm in the Dark Rift at the moment, so I think I'm reasonably close.

Did you try, maybe, making Alex Kidd in a laying down Superman in flight pose, with his fists out? Maybe have the fists be boxing gloves (if those are a weapon)?

Anyway, I'm loving the game! I can see how fans of the first two could be disappointed in it being different, but at least it's a good different and the core gameplay is intact. It's not as though they did what Sonic Heroes did (tried to evolve but failed) or Rayman Raving Rabbids did (turned the best 3D platformer into a side character in a mini game collection).

Still grinding away at Brutal Legends, I only need 2 more fights to finish off the game on Brutal.

PRO TIP: Beat the game on normal, get all the power ups, beat it on Brutal because its a pain in the ass without the extra life.

There is a whole other section after where you are, but after that you will start the second disc. I would say about three more hours of the first disc are left.

One of my favorite games this gen! Just like Mang, I think it is better than Tooie. I would just ignore the fans, Rare's fanbase is literally the most whiny I have ever seen in my entire life making even the worst SEGA fans look like saints.

Seriously, Nuts & Bolts has some of the most ingenious design I have seen for letting the player be creative. There is this one mission for instance, where you have to protect a statue, so you can do everything from setting up a bunch of guns around it, just making a big block that covers the whole thing, or just stick the whole statue to the back of a plane and run away! Brilliant!

Try experimenting with creating stuff. I found out fairly late on that if you put wings of a plane on the underside of boats they can act as rudders, for example. MIND=BLOWN.

Once I get online more we need to swap some blueprints... I based all of my designs off of SEGA related stuff. I am betting you will love some of the references!

Did you try putting helicopters on the top of him? What about weights on the inside or bottom? A good one would be the force field generator.

As for what I am playing, the Halo Reach beta starts today for the people who have their ODST discs ready, so I will be playing that most of the day if possible.

Awesome! I was hoping to encounter a friend on my list that had blueprints to share. :D I haven't done much vehicle building yet, but I plan to make Robotnik's Eggmobile and the Futurama space ship. I've seen a very impressive NASA rocket as well as a Millennium Falcon. Cool stuff!

edit: I found a pic of an Eggmobile, very awesome with a wrecking ball to boot!

Yeah, I figured that I've got to finish this blue moonstone bit first.  I'm just fighting Zivilyn Bane right now in the underwater dungeon

360, my Macbook isn't good enough to run it via boot camp and I wont be upgrading it until the end of the year.

I've started actually playing Resonance of Fate and it's been a fun first half hour, I can do almost everything except pull off a Tri-Attack, I'm still working on that.

The combate system while confusing at first is easy enough to get into, I imagine that these first few fights are simple and the next ones will ramp up the difficulty and I will need to strategize more.

Good enough, I'll give it a try. These first 30 minutes of RoF have been more fun than the 15 hours I spent on Magnacarta 2 thus far.
