I beat God of War II this morning, most of the issues was figuring out the past powers I had (I have not played it in months and was like half way through). After I got the hang of it, it was easy.

Started God of War III. I already got to the part where you kill [spoiler:m4ht52xy]Hercules.[/spoiler:m4ht52xy] What is up with the change in the QTE buttons? Why are they are random sides of the screen, 1/4ths in size of the originals? I swear, I have died in like 30 QTE scenes.

Bosses are way too easy.

The QTE buttons are positioned on the screen in the same orientation as they are on the controller. It's meant to make it easier, ie: Triangle at the top of the screen, Circle on the right, etc....

I see, I liked the first one better, having them big in the middle. The issue is that I sit a bit close to the TV when I play and I don't notice them in the corners. Especially since they come out Gold, instead of Pink, Blue etc.

Graphics are incredible in most parts, very detailed. The boss kills are brutal.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that [spoiler:tmobcjss]Hercules[/spoiler:tmobcjss] had the most brutal death in the game.

I've also been playing Sonic Adventure on the psn and now the nostalgia has worn off I'm thinking that it has aged very badly compared to any good 2d game.
Strange that nostalgia would wear off instead of grow stronger over time.

Well, I've completed Shining Force EXA 100% now. Boy, was that last mansion fun. ^__^ Overall, I really enjoyed playing this game, despite what flaws it had.

Yeah, after about 20 minutes of playing I just started to think; wow this isn't as good as I remember- all the cut scenes are awkward, the levels don't control very well and the action stages serve no purpose.

I still enjoy it but not as much as I hoped I would.

Just beat Shining Force EXA last night. The ending is something of an RPG equivalent to a "CONGLATURATION ! ! !" screen. xD But that's okay, it strangely doesn't bother me all that much.

Then I went to the new area of the world I unlocked after completing the story, only to be destroyed by the very first enemy. =P

I love Shining Force EXA, I think it's a very fun action RPG.
I'm currently playing Blade Kitten for the second time. I had such a blast on my first playthrough so I'm running through it again trying to find more treasure chests and unlock more costumes!

Was thinking long and hard about remaking the entirety of Station Square in Halo Reach's Forge World, but it seems stupidly hard and I doubt many people would care. There is also a big issue of it not looking anything like the real thing so it would kind of be pointless...

Just with this a lot of ideas came up, like if you turned the section where Tails got his anklet into a room with windows for sniping, or how just adding basic features like rooftops adds entire new dimensions to how it would all work, there is a kind of surprising amount of cool things that could turn out of it. Unfortunately it seems way too hard and unnecessary. Guess I will stick to a full complete remake of Kamurocho instead!

Also started up a new character file in Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution, have not really gotten into this game for years and while I do not really like the music, overall this is just a more enjoyable experience than Virtua Fighter 5 vanilla I think, probably because Yu Suzuki was not on board for that!

You're right, it is a very fun action RPG! ^___^

However, that ending sure was.... abrupt. xD Anti-climaxes ftw?

Yeah, I agree the game kinda ends a little too quickly. I did enjoy the rest of the story however.

Oh, I'm also currently playing Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones.

I beat God of War III. Er, a bit on the edge about the ending. [spoiler:ibsjweov]I'm tired of having to do a big mission, to get a stupid item that you don't even use. Really, did you need the power to kill a God like Aries? He had no issue killing the other ones without it.[/spoiler:ibsjweov]

Well, if you pay attention to the ending you'll see that Kratos had that power all along and that is how he was able to defeat them.

Yeah, I got that. But still, odd that he did not question it. Like "GO GET THIS"

"WAIT HOW HAVE I BEEN KILLING GODS ALL ALONG!?"

I'm at the last checkpoint for  Exodus in Halo Reach on legendary.
Pretty damn tricky but I'll persevere and get through it.

I have 6 real life friends that own the game now so we can all play as one team in the invasion matches (basically Rush from Battlefield Bad Company but with aliens and jet packs)
