After finishing Halo Reach on legendary I have decided to do both ODST and Halo 3 on legendary.

Halo ODST sucks.

Played Deadliest Warrior on PSN. Fuck. It could have been great. It reminds me of Bushido Blade, but lacking some small tweaks to make it a amazing experience.

First of all. When you finish a fight, it doesn't give you a retry option. This is so fucking annoying in fighting games, especially ones like these that fights only last a few seconds. This is something they did right in the UFC games. These are the type of games you want to 'try one more time' and it really kills the mood when you have to load out of the game, load the main menu, hit the gameplay mode and pick your class all over again. Bullshit.

Graphics are MEH, with muddy textures etc. Also screen tearing and slowdown doesn't help the experience.

Really? What don't you like about it? I personally thought ODST was quite excellent.

The single player was a real nice change from the regular Halo style, with the city exploration being really fun I thought. The music is probably my favourite in the whole series, and was good enough that it's actually one of the first things I think of when I think of the game. It had that great somber mood and set the atmosphere really nicely.

Not to mention the game introduced FireFight which was brill!

Halo 3 ODST is a love/hate affair. I have a friend who really hates it too, although he got a slightly better impression of the game when he finally played Firefight for real...which was right before he sold the game.

I think the biggest gripe (although not Monkerooney's) people have with it is the price, it was announced as budget game and came out as a full price title based on the Halo 3 multiplayer disc... Walking around New Mombasa at night isn't exactly exciting either. I did enjoy the levels themselves though, even if it's possible to beat some of them without actually killing any enemies. The music is ace.

I really like ODST cause the first time I played online I got a sniper rifle and handled 3 headshots in a row. I swiftly logged out and never returned leaving my kill meter at 100% headshots for all eternity.

It was some of the best 40 seconds of my life.

There are some good bits to it, which is why I am still playing it.
My issue is the night hub is pointless and dull, although the music is really nice. A lot if the daytime missions are too short and feel derivative.
Also firefight doesn't support matchmaking like reach so I won't be able to play it.

I'd give it a 7/10 so far.

I'm also playing Sonic 4, it's good bar a few issues with controls, although that's to be expected on a buttonless iPhone. The minecart level is not good.

Made some more progress in Okami while the DS was charging. I'm about 25% through it. I'm enjoying it more as it goes on, with every brush technique I pick up.

Just finished Yakuza 3 today, holy crap, what a fantastic, utterly brilliant game. I loved it, considerably enjoyed it more than the first two as well I thought. I felt the story was better/more consistent and the sidequests and content seemed more fun (Even though they were great in 1 and 2 as well!).

I do get the feeling part of that may have been because I felt that playing 1&2 was almost like 'Catch up', whereas Yakuza 3 felt more like I could really take my time and settle in, knowing about the series better.

In any event, Yakuza 3 just ate up ALL my gaming time recently, so I haven't touched Dead Rising 2 in over a week pretty much. Will be getting back to that shortly!

Finished ODST on normal and am wanting to play through again immediately on legendary.
It was pretty good, but the levels were too short and simple, I wasn't a fan of the visor effect either which made a dated looking game look worse.

However the controls were there and the storyline was quite good (I don't follow Halo too closely).

Apart from that I'm trying my hand at playing throgh Halo 3 on legendary, I finished it on normal at launch and then left it.

I'm up to 5 chaos emeralds on Sonic 4 and am really getting used to the controls, saying that I cannot wait until the XBLA release.

I also might buy Enslaved tonight, I'm on the late shift all week and could do with a good story driven game that is a different change of pace to a shooter.

I beat The World Ends With You.  Another one of those "I played the first 3rd a few years ago, but never got around to finishing it" games.
I actually got into it a lot more this time, once I got my head around the item management in it.  The story also gets much more interesting.

With that one done, I downloaded Final Fantasy IX off of the PSN, so I could finally get around to playing it.  I've had the physical copy kicking around for a few years, but I tend to prefer playing RPG's on portable systems.  Leveling up/random battles aren't as much of a big deal when I can play in short bursts whenever I want.

Played and finished Jett Rocket, cool little game. Borrows too much from Mario.

Picked up enslaved and finished the first 5 chapters.

Excellent game, but I'll probably finish it and then put it on ebay whilst the resale value is high.
Loving the story, I really enjoyed 28 days later and Sunshine (up until the crispy guy) so it is interesting to see how they have handled the text transformation of Journey to the west.
