More proof that Sonic is in the closet?

Recently, when I revisited Gaia Online I noticed that there was a free Sonic and the Black Knight tie-in item... in the form of Sonic himself! ^__^ He stands beside your avatar when equipped.

However, what really caught my eye was the item's description:



"I'm on a never-ending quest to save my girlfriend!"

As anyone familiar with Comedy Central in the last 10 years would know, that's a reference to Xandir, the gay elf boi from Drawn Together who, in the early episodes, tried to stay in the closet by claiming to his roommates that he was going to rescue his "girlfriend".



Is this SEGA's way of hinting that Sonic is a closeted homosexual? I think it must be so, but who knows! ^__^

Tails is supposed to be eight years old also, I highly doubt he is trying to be effeminate or even understand what being gay is, you fish fondling fruitcake.
