Super Monkey Ball comes to Project Natal?

Looks like Natal will be getting plenty of Sega games in the future.

It turns out Sega may be producing much more than that.  A reliable source tells TSSZ News that Sega firmly has three Natal based games in development. We do not know if any of these are slated to be shown at the upcoming E3, and we don’t yet have details on two of the three titles.  Hayes did say in his CVG interview that “several” titles were in development by Sega both for Natal and Move, slated to be released later this year and in 2011.

However, our source did tip us off to one of the games on deck: A new addition to the Super Monkey Ball franchise.  We’re told the game won’t be a proper sequel, in the sense that it won’t be branded Super Monkey Ball 3–but it will be unique in its own right, even down to the control mechanism.  Our source says to expect a different setup from recent fare offered on the Wii, which has used motion control both via controller and the Wii Balance Board.

About time Xbox 360 owners got some much deserved Monkey love.

Don't forget no option for analogue controls and terrible motion sensing ones.

Just make a Gun Plastic Shell (Build recoil into it ) and Port every Gun game you've made SEGA . That would be the only good use of Natal imo

Do you think Natal would be accurate enough for light gun games though? I would love a pack like that, but I think PSmove would be a better option for that kinda thing

They can program the plastic shell to be easier to track, sort of how Sony does the move controller lights. Should be accurate enough.

Yes its far more accurate than the Wii Remote (if you believe the PR bull) So its shouldn't be an issue . All SEGA would need to do , is build a decent shape Gun, wack in recoil  (and enough buttons for most of their Lightgun games ), and that's it.

Cheap and easy .

Simple , to use PS Move you need the 2 controllers, Camera , and then would need to buy a Light Gun Casing , sort of getting expensive to play Light Gun Games

Natal , well its tracks your movement (you don't need to buy the Move controller with the Colour sensor)   Well  you  don't really need any controller to play a Light Gun game  on Natal . But for the full effect , you could have a meaty plastic Gun shape  (maybe even with a recoil)   Chirst I'll be happy with the classic Stunner shaped Gun from the Saturn

Cheap simple and easy , add in the easy of use of the 360 Development .
Perfect for cheap simple and easy ports of SEGA various Lindgerg, Chiniro, Model 2 & 3 Gun games .  It's about the only move that would make me want to buy the Natal

well , the price is not that matter for me if it means to play the games i want the way it should .
all you have to do is buying Move Controller with its Camera , it's kinda similar case with Natal despite the price differences ..

For the love of all that is monkeyball, let the series get back to how great it was in in SMB 1,2 and delux.

It not an issue to me , buy Gun games are a limited affair these days . Now from what I read , with Move its needs the Camera to track the Ball on top on the Move pad , Natal doesn't need that .

All SEGA needs to do is just make a nice Plastic Gun shape , for Natal to track . Simple easy and cheap , and I'll be happy if we were  have the old Virtual Gun Stunner Guns (with just a few extra buttons)  .

It would be ace to have the like of Too Spicy , VC III, HOTD IV on console that can do them across perfectly .
Bring them both the PS3 and 360 it doesn't matter to me , Just get the games out on home systems , that have the power to handle the ports

For that to happen , you don't need bullshit motion controls , Just use the standard pad   , and make the Multi Player online . Its so simple
