If that turns out to be true, I wonder who will promote that in the West. Sega? Atlus USA? Sony?
I don't think much of Atlus developer strengh is benefitial to Sega, outside of Atlus USA being able to cultivate their fanbase.
But you guys are still thinking of Sega as a global games power..they make their money now as a REGIONAL global power. Games that make money on a regional basis but collectivly makes profits on a global basis. That's where relic, Atlus and many others come in. Atlus has done very well in japan under Sega. And they have games that Sony is more interested in as exclusives. Also there are actually TWO potential exclusives being worked on from Sega inhouse that's meant to accompany RGG 0(for the platform not same year). But its more likely that one will show up and i don't think its the same game being talked about. That's what i know from over a year ago.
Things changed now because as i suspect because of the presence of Atlus and the news of Sega getting back movie rights to certain games which will more than likely be their new attempt to making international orientated (ie westernized) games again rather than just soley focusing on regional titles(which they will continue to do).
