Yep, it's not having any legs at all. It's already dropped 10 spots since last week. I'm quite certain that they'll start marking down this game in the UK soon.

Guess Sega will probably have Sonic Colors and Football Manager 2011 to make up for X-mas season. Hope Sonic Colors survives the CoD: Black Ops tidalwave.

What about Sonic 4's selling numbers? Doesn't anyone have a word about it?

I checked Major Nelson's blog, but no numbers as of yet. Perhaps the game's placement on the iTunes App Store and XBLA "top sellers" listing will give some sort of idea?

iphone version update:
Sonic 4 is #18 on the list of top paid apps in the "arcade" category. Also, Sonic 4 is the most expensive ($9.99) of all the games up to that point on the list.

Sonic 4 is #27 in the "Action" category. Again, Sonic 4 is the most expensive of all the games up to that point on the list.

Sonic 4 is #65 in the "All Games" category and Sonic 4 is the most expensive of all the games up to that point on the list. #1-64 are mostly 99 cents, with a few $2, $5 and $7 games.

So in all three "top selling" game categories that Sonic 4 falls under, Sonic 4 is the #1 selling premium priced game ($9.99 and up).

Didn't look like Street Fighter IV even made the "all games" list, which is a top 100 I believe.

Well I am very annoyed. The superb Sonic Colours only charted at No.11 on the Wii chart in the UK charting behind The Sims 3 console version. I expected the ame to at least reach no.1 on the Wii chart for a week or so. It's the best Wii game since Mario Galaxy 2... To make it seem worse Sonic Free Riders made the individual format sales chart at no.38! A spin off beat the flagship game. Lets hope the COD/Kinect hysteria took the limelight away and this one is a slow burner sales wise. Will be interesting to get the rest of the EU and US.

I suspect Sonic Colours will sell for a long time.
Does anyone know if Sega will be doing commercials for Sonic Colours? They bloody well need too.

Well, when your game is being released on the same week as Call of Duty: Black Ops, this would be the most likeky outcome.

Though, I am surprised that even Fighters: Uncaged managed to chart higher than Sonic Free Riders.

Only Football Manager fell slighty, which is so far the only Sega game that's bringing in the ma-nay.

We have them here allready in holland. I am skeptical. Sonic games sales have gone lower with each new installment. It'd be a great achievement if sonic colors ended up selling more than all 3 version of sonic unleashed together. Which was around 3 million total

^Well so far the UK charts shown were only the first day Sales as the game came out at the end of the week.

I'm not worried yet.

EU sales are up on VGchartz (Fairly accurate estimates). A shade over 10k for Sonic Colours... Be interesting to see what it gets in the states (Is it out there yet?). I expect a few weeks of growth.

The DS version did 5k!!!!

I don't think it is out for another wekk in Japan, same with the US so there is no data. On a more positive note Colours this week has moved from 37 to 18 on the all formats chart so expect a number closer to 100,000 units next week having been on sale for 7 days in EU and US pre-orders were around 70,000 if I remember correctly.

IMO #18 is still a bad position for a 'Sonic' game.
