It's amazing to think we still have so many games being made for the Mega Drive etc still. Those consoles weren't easy to work with and it takes a lot of effort to do the simplest of things.

Because of an unprecedented large amount of orders, PayPal decided it was way too suspicious for a Mega Drive/SEGA Genesis game to be that successful and they locked WaterMelon's funds after over 8 years of business which's greatly affected their schedule and operations

Yes, it's not much.
For example : Orion who's just recently quit after making many games for old system.
About why, he said, "don’t sell enough to make a living from it."
 
That's kinda sad since Orion is one of the best publisher for old system.
