I figure what he's going through might be like the equivalent of a recently deceased wife. While I know I'm comparing human life to a hologram, I'm simply imagining how he must be taking it.
I'm curious why the software he had for his hologram was automatically removed from his... Computer? Projector? Hardware? I mean, why can't he simply continue to use the last version of the software and current projector?
That would be like if Oculus decides to retire and somehow automatically uninstall and delete the app from my computer making my VR headset completely worthless.
Because the Gatebox hologram Kondo uses is like a live service.
Miku greets us in the morning,
talk to us what day is it today,
and could hold a simple conversation
for example about the weather today.
It's also connected to our phone,
Miku could even send text on our phone.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-lcyYmQDywAnd I know Crypton Future Media, Inc. are under no obligation to satisfy the individual interest of the fans of Vocaloid but surely they can compensate Kondo with something given the fact he married one of their holograms.
Actually Kondo isn't the only one who's married to Miku.
There are thousand of them...
It's just Kondo is the one who's kinda sociable and willing to be interviewed.
Crypton would gone bankrupt if they need to compensate them.
Also it's more from Gatebox rather than from Crypton.
Miku is just one of their Licensed Virtual Characters that Gatebox uses.
