Happy 30th Year Anniversary for Gaiares !!!

Quote
Gaiares is a 1990 shoot-'em-up by Telenet Japan released first for the Sega Mega Drive in the Japan and US, published by Renovation Products.
The US version also came with a poster. It was one of the first games to use 8 Megabit instead of 4 Megabit cartridges, a big portion of that is used for cutscenes.

Did You Know That These Three Games are Trilogy?

Those three games are part of Emirin / Emiko Yamamoto's (a game designer and producer at Disney) Mega Drive's I Love ...(Disney) trilogy.
It's reflected on the Japanese Mega Drive's titles :

1. I Love Mickey Mouse: Fushigi no Oshiro Daibouken (aka Castle of Illusion in the west)
2. I Love Donald Duck: Guruzia Ou no Hihou (aka Quackshot in the west)
3. I Love Mickey and Donald: Fushigi na Magic Box (aka World of Illusion in the west).

Understandable that most of western gamers probably wouldn't know this due of the changing of the titles for the western version.

Best Gaming Soundtracks Of All Time - Ecco The Dolphin

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tqMuvFEKCOk

Quote
'Ecco The Dolphin' was a dense, extremely difficult game that was laden with themes that probably went over the heads of players when it initially launched.
Like the game itself, the soundtrack seemed almost at odds with what other games were doing - it was deep, beautiful, strange, mysterious, purposefully challenging, and far ahead of its time.

10 Of The Most Blatant Snack Sponsorships In Retro Gaming History

Quote
Cool Spot is an entertaining platform game starring – get ready for this – the red dot on the 7 Up logo.
The European versions of the game had all the 7 Up branding removed (starting to see a theme here?), mainly because 7 Up’s mascot in Europe was another character called Fido Dido and it was decided not to confuse things.
In the bonus stages, instead of spelling out its marketing slogan UNCOLA you had to spell out VIRGIN.
Stop laughing, that’s who published it.

Happy 27th Year Anniversary for Dragon Ball Z: Buyuu Retsuden !!!

Quote
Dragon Ball Z: Buyuu Retsuden is a 1994 fighting game by Bandai for the Sega Mega Drive made with the Dragon Ball Z license.
An unique feature in this game is that both characters will always be on-screen simultaneously — leading to the game doing vertical split-screen with scrolling, rotating split screen, and various other neat tricks the Mega Drive was not known for doing (accomplished using various tricks with VDP layer management).
This feature is in fact required by some of the strongest moves (which require both players to be far away from each other).

Doom 32x: Delta Edition

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJlCq8LUu80

Quote
Doom 32x Delta, a direct port of the PC maps and textures, with framerate optimization, brand new foes, monster infighting, 2 bonus levels, and a custom final level based off Jaguar Doom’s E2M8 level featuring the Icon of Sin and one hell of a challenge.
Doom 32x: Delta is not only the definitive Doom 32x experience that truly blows the other level restorations out of the water, but it may just be the ultimate 90’s Console Doom port experience with PSX Doom only beating it by additional content and lighting effects.

Have you defeated Z-Leo?

Happy Anniversary Alien Soldier.
Treasure’s infamously difficult (even on “Supereasy” mode) action game Alien Soldier set Japanese 68000 hearts on fire back in February 1995.
