I like to believe, though there's no way for me to prove this, that Evan Stanley read the Sonic Wiki Zone article on Extreme Gear where they learned of the Extreme Gear producers that Tails referenced.

Granted, they could've actually played Sonic Free Riders and read the descriptive pieces for each of the Extreme Gear boards to find out about Accelovice. It's what I did in order to add to that article myself.

I'm just curious, if I never added that part of the article myself, would someone else will? And if no one would, would Tails ever mention Accelovice if it were not for that article I partially written?

To be honest I never have a XBox 360 so I never played Sonic Free Riders.
And lot of Sonic fans didn't play that game too because of its console exclusivity.
Even for those who have XBox 360, not everyone has an interest on Kinect.
And those who played may be didn't have interest in writing wiki or article so yeah may be nobody would do it if you never added that part of the article.
At least until the 'no Kinect' hack patch that's released recently which gave the game more exposure so who knows.

So maybe, just maybe, Tails would not have mentioned Accelovice if it were not for my contribution to the Extreme Gear article?
