Just watched Shaolin Soccer again last night for the first time in years.

It's still one of the best films (if not THE best film) on the sport ever made. If real football could be like that, I'd be watching it all the time! ^__^

I agree, Soccer is only for people who have nothing better to do with their lives than stay in their mothers basement all day training, and it has not improved with every other sport for the past ten years.

[spoiler:19brvbu1]Also, the movie is awesome, yes.[/spoiler:19brvbu1]

Your words and not mine!

All I know is that real athletes are too weak to do all those cool high jumps and super kicks. ^^

I always remember that scene where the kid is puking and when the dude kicks the ball against the wall and the wall starts to break.

Crackerjack is the best sports movie ever made (maybe not). The DEFINITIVE film about Lawn  Bowls (Almost certainly true)

Was Shaolin Soccer the same guy who did Kung Fu Hustle?

Yep, it was a Stephen Chow production, he was also producer for a movie recently which shall not be named for the mere mention of it brings horrors and mental scares to one's mind.

Anyway, it's gonna be a FC Porto - Chaves for the Portugal Cup later next week.

And for the saddest news of them all, Totenham crushes  Arsenal's chance of getting the championship.

The horror...

Someone is really angry today.

On the other hand a certain club secured their funds for the next season, with yet another release of "classic derbies"...

We had 81% possession and about 24 shots on their goal (lol 11 of them came from van Persie in his 20 minute cameo)

So who did Harry sell to the devil to win that game?

Ah well, it had to come to an end at some point, shame it had to come at a point now where they are going to laud their heroes for stopping Arsenal from winning the league.

Pretty sure that Rose guy will be on every Spurs fans player of the year award now.

Alas, van, how we missed you so.

^

I am in rage mode. I can barely speak. I screamed so much at today's match. The ref wasn't that bad but he was such a nitpick with stupid little shit like wrong throw-ins and no cards for the, that I counted, three hand balls the other team did.

But, at the 74th minute, we managed to score. 1-1 against the leader! Best of all, two homegrown players did the job, the one who scored playing for the main team for the very first time.

Video: http://videos.sapo.pt/Yos98Y41eWzOdZ4oqzJ1

I continued to scream, I was so angry. All of a sudden the other team didn't want to lose time to fake injuries anymore. And then, as Mourinho would say, we parked the bus and stayed that way until the final whistle.

I'm getting old for this stuff. I'm filing for divorce.

Well, well, well... Beira-Mar is set to come back to the major league.

I guess they'll start using that stadium again. It's a shame to pass through the IP5 freeway and see that building abandoned.

Can't argue with that, but at least if Beira Mar makes it to the big leagues, that stadium will be filled with Benfica, Sporting and FC Porto fans.

Sucks for Beleneses, though.
