Orta is such an awesome game, and it got great critical success.  Too bad that didn't translate to sales.

It also is glitchy on the XBOX 360, since they stopped BC development soon after the Orta patch came out.

I'd wager to guess that a good number of Dreamcast fan's next console was that XBOX JSRF bundle with the "controller S" pad. While totally not a SEGA console, it felt like the next best thing. I did buy a PS2 well before the JSRF bundle, but the XBOX was far more exciting a purchase as a SEGA fan.

Box could have looked cooler, but whatever. It was a SEGA bundle.

I loved Sega GT 2002. I still think it's the best GT racer on the console. I didn't enjoy the first Forza.

Barry was right on the money with that bundle (but mine came with Halo too!), I saw that in a catalogue somewhere and was 'OMGWTFJSRF&SEGAGT2002&HALO!? SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY'

But I had the superior Duke pad instead of that sissy new controller (Just kidding, the S controller is probably better, but until I got a 360 I LOVED the Duke and couldn't use the S controller).

this!

On a related note, I just got a cool adapter that lets me play PS3 with my Duke. I'm loving it!

I'd wager to guess that a good number of Dreamcast fan's next console was that XBOX

According to a poll at DC.IGN

Dreamcast consumers were evenly divided into 4 categories:
25% PS2, GC, X-Box, and Lastly 'Gasp, nothing can replace the Dreamast'

I stayed on the last option.

Give or take a few percent almost all of them were equal but if memory serves GC had 29% with the lowest being either PS2 or Xbox at 19%.

Xbox Duke controller was incredible and very underrated.

As for the percentages. I played over 200+ PlayStation 2 games and dozens on each of the others, but I probably played Dreamcast thousands of hours more than all of those consoles combined, and it still runs like a dream.

My Boyfriend had a PS3 when we first met and he was always playing games on it and talking about it and such. When I saw Uncharted and Uncharted 2 I pretty much went out and bought my own PS3.  As well as all of it's accessories. It was the First console I ever bought myself. :D

Sonic 06 on the PS3 was the most I've ever been excited to get a new console. I can't tell you how happy I was to finally play it. =)

For me, Jet Set Radio Future.  In fact, I got it several days before I got an Xbox.  I remember just staring at the box many times during those several days.  I wasn't even a kid then, I was a grown man already!  I think I was moving between houses at that time so that threw the timing off everything.

More recently, Valkyria Chronicles, and the possibility of Yakuza 3 being localized, got me to get a PS3... that and backwards compatibility so I could catch up on some PS2 games I missed.
