The kid was playing it in the most reckless-looking way possible because the commercial is about worrying about young drivers on the streets, obviously.

But there is a U in the word?

It is pronounced,
'Hy-un-dai' exactly how it is spelt!

I pronounce it "Hey-win-die"

On-topic:
The anime, Gintama is full of SEGA references, at one point, they talked about the Genesis and how it's rare to find people in Japan with the Genesis compared to the SuperFamicom, they also talked about Altered Beast.

There was another episode where they made fun of Console wars and mentioned Shenmue and how much its fans been waiting.

I was watching a Bollywood film this evening, "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge," and in one of the first scenes, a teenage daughter is talking with her mother.  There's a box of Sonic the Cereal in the foreground on the table.  The film is available for instant streaming on Netflix.

I got two I haven't seen on here yet.

CSI-Season 1- Episode 1: Nick Stokes and Warrick Brown talk about the Sega Dreamcast and playing some sports games on it.

Happy-Go-Lucky(film): Suzy asks Jamie what games he has for his PS3 and he responds "We got Sonic the Hedgehog, Splinter Cell..."

Seriously? 2 years and no-ones got any new ones?

Well this isn't really a new one, since this movie came out 10 years ago, but i only saw it yesterday, so its new to me. It's the swedish movie Lilja 4-ever, and it has a scene set in an arcade. The characters are shown playing Sega Touring Car Championship, and if you look in the background there's a Manx TT Superbike machine. Can't embed the video, so here's a link to a clip of it.
