This is probably my favorite boss music from the Sonic Advance games.

While not my favorite type Special Stage in the Sonic Series, the music for the Emerald Special Stages in Sonic Heroes is undoubtedly my favorite.

Excellent choices cosmiccastaway. That sonic advance 3 final boss track was indeed awesome. I think it was a remix of emerl's(Gemerl in advance 3) theme song from sonic battle.

[youtube:224pz5rv]ztJUScMb5AY[/youtube:224pz5rv]

I really loved emerl as a character. Never really thought about why, just something mysterious I guess. Imo sonic battle had some excellent story telling, one of the best.

Well let me bump this thread up a bit I guess.

I seem to have a weakness for sonic adventure 1's OST. It was so varied.

Windy valley part 1

[youtube:224pz5rv]obbyL2fRRBU[/youtube:224pz5rv]

And the calming mystic ruins song. It doesn't seem to get mentioned much, but in game it just seems to fit so excellent. Not ignoring the fact that for the genres standards, it's pretty terific. The flute part that begins around 1:00 is a really nice touch as well.

[youtube:224pz5rv]S1i8MEHcX0Q[/youtube:224pz5rv]

I love how music really plays a great importance in sonic games. Buying a sonic game is like buying an album where you have to earn each track by playing

My favorite piece of music from Shadow the Hedgehog:

[youtube:21m567rv]5XzyfTfXMI4[/youtube:21m567rv]

It's my favorite stage from the game, and I just think that the music for it is quite great.

And here is one of my favorites from S3&K:

Love this tune, never get tired of it.

I think the Sonic Riders OST is really underrated

Splash canyon

[youtube:3enct1lb]MjENGpHAPXY[/youtube:3enct1lb]
Especially the part at 1:30

Digital Dimension

[youtube:3enct1lb]jVxfvBdeCMQ[/youtube:3enct1lb]
Best track in the game

Keeping things in riders territory, I loved these two tracks in Free Riders:

[youtube:1udre97b]_ClovReCad8[/youtube:1udre97b]

[youtube:1udre97b]xY3Dby3tATg[/youtube:1udre97b]

Great beats, and catchy samples. Metropolis Speedway's sunset setting combined with the music gives a very cool vibe to the course. Sort of like a summer night.

I remember finding this in the music test menu just by coincedence but still really thought it sounded beautiful.

Was Emerald Hill Zone really not posted yet? I didn't see it.

[youtube:weo2p5yo]y6E5Cx_37HU[/youtube:weo2p5yo]

I didn't see Green Hill Zone either : /

[youtube:weo2p5yo]y-78CMKME4o[/youtube:weo2p5yo]

These two are amongst the most obvious, so are they not allowed or something?

I think it may have been because  they're predictable hehe. Still great tracks though!

The 2 player music in sonic 2 was great too imo
Emerald hill
[youtube:3ilpu7wc]HgQ_YaJS-NE[/youtube:3ilpu7wc]

And here my favourite one. Sounds almost like a Michael Jackson song from the 80's

[youtube:3ilpu7wc]KhZzANSpUNk[/youtube:3ilpu7wc]

Disagree? Well listen to this

If we are truly doing this for some 20th anniversary album they need to be on it, easily the most iconic of the entire franchise. Most people associate Sonic music with either GHZ or EHZ music. Also, I think the that Mystic Cave Zone has more layers than Shake your body, Shake your body has less layers in regards to its' instrumentals. It sounds quite a bit more simplistic, I can hear some similarity though.

My choice for the day:

I didn't see Sea Side posted yet:

[youtube:vqkn85w4]AeoLK6M9sts[/youtube:vqkn85w4]

Also, I think I saw some Sonic Shuffle, but not Blizzard of the Coast

Love Bridge Zone! One of the most underrated Sonic stages ever in my opinion. =D

Another great piece of music from S3&K
[youtube:1ah756et]gdlg1u69Fa0[/youtube:1ah756et]

Favorite piece from Sonic and the Black Knight.
