Honestly I think the main character looks are pretty unique and original. Imo in a good way but maybe some would disagree :p
I wouldn't go that far...

Yeah, it is partially the outfits too. The black guy has really gotta go, he is the most painful to watch/listen to. Also make him wear a shirt, he has no armpit hair, Nagoshi's metrosexual influence there I suppose.

Screw it, make the entire cast Asian, doesn't the game take place in Japan anyways?

You know whats funny? Yakuza has really likable characters. They should change the black guy into something... better? His script right now is the black guy like the one from Gears of war that stands in the back and says "HELLL YA@!!!!" and stupid shit.

If you want to make a unique lead character, make him a non-stereotypical black man.

Good stuff, Pao, now I dont have to wait 28405 million years to wait for the official site to load. Also agree with all your favourites.

I've a hunch the people will end up being the unwitting villains, playing stooge to some corporation trying to clean up some mess. The robots will be much more sympathetically portrayed, I'm sure.

Well from the trailer we know at least some good, even if they are just under the control of humans, robots still exist.

Also you're alive! I thought you'd finally been arrested for hitting on one of your students.

One of the lead characters will turn out to be a robot, then we will question what makes us human and what makes us 'alive' and if we where just killing people just like us.

Doing it right?

Kind of hoping this is not level based, but has a semi-open world where you have to explore or revisit sections of the world. Basically what we all assumed OF THE END was going to be.

The trailer really impressed me though, like everyone else. Jet skis, awwww yeah!

The official website has about 16 locations so it could be that, or 16 levels, but there seems to be a map that connects all the areas together. Still I'm hoping for something similar too.

I am back. I've just been exhausted this year. I am flying over to England though this summer, so perhaps we'll bump into each other unknowingly in a bar.

As for whether it'll be open world or linear, I'm inclined to believe it'll be open world because of the online element to the squads.

Welcome back! You should attend Summer of Sonic, even if you hate Sonic.

BRB booking tickets out of the country. We will NOT bump into each. Nah just kidding man, if you're ever in West London let me know.

It's great to have him back, I've missed having a proper nemesis, I'm afraid who we have now just aren't doing it for me.

Apparently, the Japanese trailer for BD will be different than the English one, they say it will have different areas/music.

Nagoshi also says he is relieved that the reaction for the BD trailer was positive overseas, he will be at E3 to show off the game, but only for one day!

Nagoshi's team has certainly gotten good at making cityscapes.  And it's cool to see them come up with some wild robot designs.
