So, there is such a thing as "text podcast".

OK, it's pretty weird, but have you guys checked out how this new and weird concept of a podcast has come up?

It's almost like an interactive Weekly Five feature on SEGAbits.

I would to expand on this, whenever possible.

Seems like a transcripted round-table.

Or a copy and paste of a group chat, but the participants hold back on wasting time with smileys or lolz. Interesting.

It does seem like a good idea, if done right. For those who are not confortable talking over VOIP, it's a good way to chat.

Imagine this, 3 gents from the SEGA bits chat engage in a conversation on XChat or whatever, save the transcripts and maybe do a youtube video with the quotes from everyone (maybe with a little background music). Seems like a pretty interesting concept.

I could see that making a good article on the main page, but I don't know that it's something I'd sit through on youtube.

I don't know what George or Sharky would think, but I would not be against some readers/forum folk submitting something like this as an article. Assuming its interesting to read.
