SEGA confirms new Sonic games for 2013(lol) 3 digital and 1 boxed

- Sonic Jump
- Sonic Dash
- Unannounced Sonic digital title (Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode III?)
Boxed Sonic title
-Sonic 2013 (Generations style or Sonic Adventure 3? Da HYPE!!!!)

Yeah, I'm not sure where this magic "three" number came from either.

The toy magazine stated "several" digital titles and one boxed game. Max-cady said earlier in the thread that SEGA typically releases around three Sonic games a year, which is true, maybe some of us are latching onto that? In any case, "several" does not mean "three".

I don't think ASRT 3DS counts as the boxed game for this year, considering it was delayed from December. So really we will have had two boxed games year, possibly three, if the next Sonic game has a 3DS version which has always been a unique title despite SEGA lumping the DS/3DS version in with the console/PC versions when it came to Colors and Generations.

So my guess is we have a few more digital on the way, perhaps Sonic 4 Episode III and another mobile title, as well as the end of the year game what will be on consoles, PC and 3DS. Possibly Vita too if they can port the console version properly, but I'm not counting on Vita.

Does Sonic Dash count as one of the "three" Sonic games.

I personally hope that the 3DS version is an entirely new way to play Sonic as opposed to the HD/PC/Vita versions. I like Sonic Rush, but we've had our fill of those games.

Dash totally counts as one of the "several" digital titles. We also might see ASRT on iOS devices.

sonic dash is cool. but i enjoyed sonic jump more evn tho i played it before on sony ericsson w610i. the 2d animation of the sony ericsson appealed more to me.

only the boxed will hopefully satisfy our souls.
truth to be said that sonic reached perfection in genesis era.
