Ryo Hazuki to be featured in SASRT (pictures inside)
« on: December 16, 2013, 08:13:57 pm »
Check out his vehicles (no shots of the air vehicle yet)

Apparently he was "accidentally" revealed in a Yogscast stream, ostensibly to show off Simon Lane, but unfortunately glorious Ryo Hazuki was visible to the world.

Wow, never thought Ryo would get that as a racing vehicle.

S0L posted on the SEGA forums that we are lucky enough to be getting the DLC on PC and should be grateful! Nah he didn't say it that way, but that's the way i basically see it. Sounds like SEGA West doesn't to spend any money on DLC development, IMO. He said they can do DLC on PC because its much easier then doing DLC on consoles, and costs less.

Time to build a gaming rig and join the master race!

My PC isn't powerful enough to be considered part of the master race, but it can play ASR Transformed on high settings at 60 FPS! Good enough for me :) Game is so much better at 60 FPS, and all the added detail on the textures and things going on in the background.

If this DLC doesn't come to consoles, I will be outraged. I'm not buying the game a third time (after 360 and Vita).

Get it next time there is a STEAM sale. The game goes on a sale a lot on STEAM. You could probably pick it up for 10 dollars, although I think I've seen a sale where it was $5 before.

O my god!!! Even though I have this game on PC, I really like playing on the ps3 as well sometimes. I hope ryo hazuki goes on consoles too, and if he does, I hope it'll bring a lot of fixes with it for the console version because the difference between the PC and console versions has become night and day. Console version owners deserve it as well

I saw on Twitter that STEAM is starting a holiday sale soon, so if you are looking to buy the PC version at a good price you might want to keep an eye on that.

edit: if you want every Sonic game on PC, this is a pretty good deal:

Looks like I lucked out by getting the PC version. Usually I really prefer playing games like this on a console. MS and Sony really need to do something to make it easier and less expensive to add DLC to established titles.

How well does that work for you Barry? I'll be running OSX in a virtual machine on my next Windows machine so I can use Shake (awesome discontinued compositing software). Pretty cool that that kind of stuff is possible.

So far so good, and I'm on an old machine (2008 iMac). Very easy to install, I got Windows up and running within an hour.

I meet the minimum requirements for ASRT , in fact I may be a little faster than the minimum, and I hope to try it tonight.

Typing of the Dead looks and plays great!
