Surprisingly, people who have took the time to look at it have found it quite interesting.

Get the Street team going :)

SEGA isn't doing a very good job promoting the game. It's not Total War or Sonic Boom, so SEGA west doesn't care even though it sounds like they were the ones that made this game happen. Hasn't even been announced in Japan yet.

I know it's just a digital game, but its been completely forgotten about. Hopefully they got some promotion planned soon.

It was trademarked in Japan I think.

The game happened I think because of relationship between Pokemon creator and Sega Japan CS3 producer Yosuke Okunari.

Eh, I'm not too surprised SEGA isn't giving this promotion. They rarely do that with anything these days.

Game looks fun though. Any 2D platformer with a hand-drawn animation look is good to me.

Polygon did a preview of it this past week (although the author used it as an opportunity to get a dig in on Sonic), and they said they'll review it this week when it comes out. When Sega promotes stuff, it's not just in the form of advertising. Any time you see articles about things, that's the result of some PR footwork - unless it's just a fansite or something, that is going to cover it anyway.

I got that same impression.
Few (game-focused) websites are talking about the game.

I'm at a point that a little cheering up is needed so I'll be buying it, seemed like a charming game and I love platformers.

I'll fly to London and buy you a Lucozade soon.

Also, as much as I shit on this game, it actually looks like it might be quite good. I'll see what people think of it and might pick it up on steam.

Seems like having to unlock levels by killing a certain amount of enemies in previous stages is gonna give it low scores at least. Which is understandable cause that's a really shitty design choice.

Yeah, destructoid brought that up too. Seems a real shame, because apart from that, it seems most people have liked it.

It's up on the PlayStation Store in Europe and Xbox Live.
