I've never understood what anyone sees in The GodFather or Pulp Fiction... boring as fuck.
Wow really? I can understand Godfather, since it's pretty slow paced (still one of my favourite movies though), but I thought Pulp Fiction would have been up your alley.

It is easily in a genre I'm a big fan of... it has a lot of actors I like...
But just... I dunno everything feels forced and boring.

I think I'm also really sick of hearing people tell me how great it is... It's something I get tried of fast.

In that genre I liked movies like The Warriors, Snatch, LockStock, once were warriors, Leon, A clock work Orange etc... I think Pulp Fiction is very overrated.

20 hour drive?

I've never seen the hype behind Tim Burton's films, sure they look okay but they are hardly groundbreaking or exciting.

...

I think I just fell in love with you. (and Aki and Sanus :P)

... I thought I was the only one.

I felt like Mugatu at the end of Zoolander "THEY ARE ALL THE SAME!"

I'm in a pretty similar situation.  But I live right where Lake Superior, and Lake Huron meet up.
Superior is very cold to swim in.
Ive only actually swam in Michigan and that thing is always cold, I cant imagine how Superior must feel.

I swear I've been saying this shit for years.. (before it was cool to hate Tim Burton) Of course now that its cool I just get no respect!

Edward Scissorhands is the only good movie he ever made.

Haha, yeah that one was alright.

I've never seen any Big Brother, although I am completely aware of the format.

Tim Burton was my favorite director in the 80's and early 90's: Batman, Pee-Wee, Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Batman Returns (mostly for Danny DiVito), The Nightmare Before Christmas, ED WOOD.

But since then, his style has gone stale and I don't enjoy his films. His last directed film that I enjoyed was Sweeney Todd.

I've never played a PS3.

It only gets up to about 5ÂșC by the end of August before it goes back down again. And up to that point it's really, really cold.

@Sharky: Sounds like the biggest thing was that it may have been overhyped before you saw it.  That said, I still think Reservoir Dogs is a much better film.  A heist movie where they skip the heist....awesome.

Ed Wood is my favorite movie ever.

Which is weird because I don't really like Tim Burton. (I'm so original!) He should make more unique stuff like Ed Wood!

Seriously, most of his stuff story-wise is the same as any stuff out there. The only thing different is the visual style, and even THAT has got old.

I have been meaning to watch "Mars Attacks!" for quite some time. I've never seen it (ON TOPIC!), but I have a feeling I'll LOVE it since that kind of stuff is right up my alley. So maybe that will raise my opinion of him?

It's important to remember that Tim Burton doesn't write most of his movies.  Stuff like Sleepy Hollow is neat to look at, but the plot and dialogue are horrible.  Same with his Planet of the Apes.  So the direction, backdrops and such are always consistent, but there's a lot of variation in the quality of the writing.

Also Danny Elfman is a really talented Musician, so the scores are always good.

Ed Wood was Tim Burton's last great movie.

Nowadays, he's resigned himself to making merchandise vehicles for Disney that they can sell to teenage girls.
